My daith has been fully healed for about 5 years now! I still have the original piece of jewlery in there. It was super easy to heal, I didn't have to do much to it!

I got my forward helix and tragus done @ the same time and only 4 days of slight swelling on my forward helix other than that no problems and it's been 2 months.Going to get my daith pierced in a few days so looking forward to it.
My daith was my worst piercing but its healing well thankfully. I also have my conch, flat, and 5 piercings on my lobe (a stacked lobe and my other two normal holes) everything is still healing but none of them really hurt. I suggest not sleeping on them if you can help it, that's one of the main causes of irritation bumps

B-lo! I went to NU! 😃 I really want my triple forward helix but Im sooooo scared 😦...how long did it take for urs to fully heal! All my cartilage took at least a year. Was it worth the pain?!
OMG no way! After about a year and a half I took it out because it just was not healing. It wasn't worth it to me to try and stick it out. HOWEVER I did get just one forward helix piercing 4 months ago and it's doing well.
I’m looking through these comments saying the triple helix is one of the most painful piercings. (I’m not getting it done forward though). I’m 13 and my mom said I could get my helix done sometime. I’m really nervous since they seem very painful 😔
Hey there! So piercings are always going to painful. A needle is being shoved through your skin! BUT it's temporary pain and totally manageable. Everyone's pain tolerance is different too so you never know how much it's going to hurt because everyone is so different. Have fun if you do decide to get your ear pierced!
So this is really old but I was planning on getting this but now I'm terrified because people have been rating it really highly on the pain scale and I can barely handle shots.
I got my triple front helix done yesterday not as painful as I was expecting the middle ine hurt the most but the lower one and the top nor didn't hurt. Cleaning hurts tho cause they are so close it's hard to clean properly. But I love mine.
Liv M Hi Liv! My TFH is way more painful than my conch, but everyone’s pain tolerance is different. My TFH is the only piercing that has hurt for me and I have my daith, tragus, conch, and cartilage pierced. The pain is nothing you can’t handle though.

I am on the Dcp rn also spring advantage. I am having hard time. My family wants me to come home Thursday I want to leave too but I am scared to leave my friends. I don’t wanna have any regrets but I hate my job and I’m not a Disney fan so I don’t even want to go to the parks. I just don’t know what to do. Do you have any regrets leaving?
Alivia Marie first of all, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having a hard time. The struggle is really real. To answer your question, yes and no. It’s a very long answer to here we go. I had to leave because financially I couldn’t do it anymore. I regret not being smarter with my money. But mentally and physically I also couldn’t do it. I was in a dark place and being in Disney wasn’t conducive to me getting better. Disney itself wasn’t the issue - it was me being away from my family, my boyfriend at the time, but I also had met some very terrible people in my first couple weeks of my DCP that really effected me and made me miserable. I am VERY glad I left though. My boyfriend and I broke up as I was leaving and I couldn’t have gotten through that being 22 hours away from my family. I also had some very serious health issues come about in the middle of June and if I would have stayed I wouldn’t have been able to make the drive back to NY. I had a kidney stone and I couldn’t sit for very long because of how much pain I was in and I ended up needed two surgeries. If I stayed I would’ve been termed because I wouldn’t have been able to work and then because of that, kicked out of Disney housing. I wish my DCP would’ve been different because I was SO excited for it. But it is what it is. I’ve acknowledged it wasn’t great, but I choose to focus on the positive memories I DO have. Bottom line, you have to do what’s best for you and only you know what that is. Long story short I don’t regret leaving.
I did the cultural exchange program back in 2002. It was a horrible experience. Outside of work it was amazing. I had the best roommates, we are still best friends to this day. We had a great time hanging out in and out of the parks. We got extremely lucky and our schedules sinked up really well and we had a lot of time off together. But... my working experience was horrible. I was placed at Epcot at the Italy Pavilion. Which is the location a said I was not interested in at all. It makes sense to put the Italian in the Italy Pavilion. I was a waitress at Via Napoli. My leader and my coworkers were absolutely awful to me. They would talk bad about me behind my back. When I brought it to my team leaders attention that I heard them he told me I was wrong and to learn English. I was like I speak 4 languages fluently and English is one of them. He wanted me to quit and I refused to give him the satisfaction of quitting. I’m told him that as an Italian, I can and will out stubborn you. And I did. He got fired a few weeks later for talking shit about me to a celebrity guest and their family.
I've had my triple forward helix for over 6 months now and it's still nowhere near healed. I love it so much because it's so cute but it literally has been the most finicky piercing I've ever felt with. It keeps getting the bumps and infections but I've been through it now might as well continue til it heals.
Hi Cijayy - that's exactly what my issue was. I wasn't heartbroken when they took them out. They got so bad and swollen that they were swallowing the earring. It just wasn't worth it to me once that started happening. I'm thinking about just getting one done, but we'll see.
@@katelynngroh7213 that's exactly what my piercer said do if I was to take them out was to try just getting one done at a time and letting each one heal then getting another one.
@@CijayyTurner Yep, mine too! I can't remember which video I said this in but my piercer told me the reason they get irritated is because they're three piercings so close together so when one gets irritated the piercings surround it also get irritated and that it's a vicious cycle.

I have 21 piercings and I have my double forward helix and it was by far the most painful piercings I have . It’s not for everyone but for me the second one closer to the bottom almost made me cry 😂
YES!!! It honestly was the worst out of all my piercings too! I now have 11 piercings in, but those 3 piercings were something else. I had to take them out because they kept getting infected and just were not healing. Now I'm debating just getting one on the other side.
Katelynn Groh mine I’ve had done for about a week now and one is healing perfectly fine the other is still bleeding . I’ve never had such a big issue with piercings till now ! I can’t even smile
@@rebeccakirshey2915 yep I remember that, smiling was so hard for a couple days! Never knew smiling moved my ears LOL! Keep an eye on them. When I would tell my piercer about my issues with my TFH she told me that three piercings so close together take a long time to heal because if one gets infected or angry it is so easy for the one(s) next to it to get infected too.
Katelynn Groh ya they told me the same and gave me some cleaning solutions so I’ve been using them but last night I accidentally hit it and I almost started crying. They told me it could take months to heal

Ashley Motto yep! The piercing fee was $30 and then the earring I got is a 14k gold BVLA piece, so it was more expensive. They have earrings that are way cheaper though if you don’t want to pay that much!
My Daith was my most painful but that's cuz I have a small ear and have my rook and tragus on that side so it was hard to get inside there. I don't think it helps anxiety and depression but it definitely helps my migraines.
When I had it I would use my baby blanket (yes I still sleep with it LOL) and form like donut shape around my ear so that I could lay on my side but wouldn't have my ear pressed right up against a pillow. Similar to a travel pillow if that makes sense?
I use tea tree oil and green tea bags. A piercer at Pink Armadillo in Brockport, NY told me about the tea tree oil, and Cowpok in Buffalo, NY advised me to use green tea bags. The only thing I recommend is talking with your piercer and see what they say regarding the redness and soreness.
Oh no! I'm so sorry! I'm convinced my piercer has magic hands because none of the piercings I've gotten done by her hurt. Conch? Nothing. Nose? Didn't even shed a standard tear. It's crazy.
Katelynn Groh Well most of my piercing were okay except industrial which was like semi-painful but the daith was terrible :< but especially cuz she couldn't really get the jewlery through :/
