Not working for me :( After clicking verification url from e-mail the email confirmed value is still 'no'. So user can't confirm his e-mail so all functionality has no sense. But I've read that this is some bubble issue.. Anyway, tutorial is so nice, good clear explanation. So I've learned something anyway. Thank you :)
i still cant believe you only have one video and 88 subs. needs to do more, IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME! i subbed and will be eagerly awaiting for whats next !!!
I think Bubble have now made the Current User's email confirmed boolean work in Dev mode too, I just implemented this and the flag was being set during testing in dev mode.
Thanks for the feedback. The reason I used release mode is because the validation email returned the user back to my domain. If you use dev mode, you have to make sure the user is returned to the dev mode URL.
@@willowfrostconsulting That also worked in dev mode without me doing anything else. DNS records are configured and test environment is on my domain, so not sure if that affects it.
@@blogshack8469 Okay, they must have changed the way the flag is set. When I made the video, the flag was not being set in the dev database. Thanks for providing this input...
Thanks for that...but what about for mobile apps? Since we user parameters to navigate you cannot navigate to another page and there's no option to send parameters.
Spent days trying to figure this out on my own, reading various posts in the Bubble forum and this video was all I needed all along. Great job Willow and thanks
