I was in the red Z4M 10 minutes in. Just wanted to say great driving and also that you have the excellent HPDE etiquette! You caught up super quickly after 1, and I saw in my videos I gave a mirror tap to let you know I saw ya between 4-5, you gave a signal and signal and plenty of breathing room till I could get you by comfortably (saw a lot of good communication in all your videos). Great to see communication and sharing when we are out to have fun! Keep it up (and the times down) :)
Thanks for stopping by! Also, thank you for giving me the point by! There were several in our group who made me sit behind them for an entire lap before pointing me by. Our cars are very similar in performance and you were a fantastic driver! I hope to see you on track again soon!
It is indeed a slow bike. It isn't designed to be fast. Honda advertised this bike as an adventure bike which is capable of doing light off-road riding. Because of this, the bike is really only geared to do 100-110 MPH. It handles great in the corners though!
They have RV hookups but no supercharger. He sat out one session but could have run all of them if he wanted to. He had time to run to a supercharger during the lunch hour.
I've watched all of your offs and every single time you are crazy slow with your hands and your eyes fixate directly on whats in front of the car. Quicker hands and look ahead, look where you want the car to go also means when it starts to slide, your eyes should be out the side of the car and you should be steering to where you are looking. Also look into a racing school like skip barber or Bondurant that has a skid car, or go do a wet session at your local drift org.
Looks like more of a combination of getting in too hot, going wide of the apex and trying to get slowed down to make the corner. I think you are still pretty hard on the brakes as you were turning and hitting the strips.
@@SpoonStyleS2K Turn 10 is south bend, right? Will be a totally different experience this time. Last year I was there in a 500hp AWD Audi...I'm excited to see how light and nimble the S2k feels in comparison. Definitely more of a momentum car for sure!

Sorry man 😂. I'm usually at the garage across the paddock from you. I promise I'll stop by next time I see you in the paddock. I'm always bragging to my Dad about how fast you are in that mini! I probably won't do the June event (unless I come up with some extra money) but I'll definitely be at the October event. I'm running Road Atlanta on April 11th if you wanna join!

She did go to the doc this evening with her sister to get antibiotics....better to get ahead of this thing as quickly as we can.
Congrats on the new PB! Don’t sweat it. You know the pace is there and always good to be conscientious of other drivers. I had 3 new PB laps blown in a single session due to hitting traffic last event ha! It just takes everything aligning(including traffic) for that perfect lap. Nice driving.
Yeah both of those cars have 3X the power my car has. It definitely doesn't hurt my feelings when they pass me on the straights lol 😂. It does hurt my feelings when they brake too early and it kills my lap time though. I shouldn't have pointed them by so late. Next time I'll just let them be mad and point them by when the lap is over.
