I found away to get a big city easy. First creating with minimal and have hips of low and mid industrial + accordingly people with offices. Generating 17 k income when expense is 9 k. Let run to get few millions then start from other empty side to create offices and houses ,but destroy industry. lower taxes to get people. I made 150 k people and whualaa
This game is so much more life-like and difficult than the other Simcity games. I made a decent sized city once, but nothing like these amazing cityscapes.
Wait you can just add trees in the streets and in the middle of cities or is that from a mod? I usually play without mods so I just assumed you can't add trees in streets
Very interesting. I was playing Simcity 4 Deluxe vanilla and decided to come here to get some ideas. I was shocked to see the round roads (lmao) so I checked which mods you were using. I have to say that your style of building is really interesting and I noticed you don't shy away from using those one block zones (when dealing with curved and diagonal roads) lol. Very good video dude.
*I love this game so much, but someone should make a mod or something so that repetitive skyscrapers don't spawn. That's one thing I can't stand about it, but I'd say it's way better than city skylines. It just looks more realistic.*
can you list all the buildings mod, i would like some, thats really cool. and i struggle to have a good city like yours, can you maybe give a tutorial to?
I love this game, but I always found the transport side of it a bit dumb. Cars have no need to park, and public transport is usually unnecessary. Sims only go from home to work, and work to home. It would have been more fun if cities would get faster congested and you actually had to think about how people get around in your city.
2:07:00 - that's the lame part of this amazing game. Right there! When you toggle traffic in a new tile, no one is using your new road. Eventhough both cities are connected. You can only transport one tile at a time! You can not transport them beyond that. Yeah, it's just computing power. But if you could program that in, that would be sweet! The freight don't disappear, they go to the other side! That would be sweet
Beautiful city!! I've been having big environment problems with my favorite city, in your experience, is it better to build "open grass area" and plant trees on top or simply plant trees on unused grounds???
