Yep it’s me, CostaMesaDave! Wannabe off road & race car driver, father, husband and small business entrepreneur.
After years of traveling what seems like around the world and back I finally decided to buy a GoPro and start capturing some of my road trips, day trips, vacations, adventures, rides and crazy shit I always seem to witness.
This channel has no direction and no consistent topic. The plan is to post some videos and see if anyone wants to watch what I have to post.
If you end up following my channel then to you I say THANK YOU!
If your one of those that likes to subscribe to channels then go for it, I promise to try and keep you entertained. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos.
@@heavenandhello6629 well truth be told it's not just Covid, the 405 expansion took 60 feet of the back nine on both courses so unfortunately the people that own the property made out like bandits
Okay so I’m not the stupid one it’s the shitty car design. This has been the only helpful thing I’ve found on the whole internet. I’ve been driving myself crazy trying to figure it out.
VERY USEFUL VIDEO... Nice ride, I know that area well. As long as you ride responsibly, no cop is going to hassle you. SART banned scooters, but recently allowed CLASS 1 & 2 eBikes. For a state that loves GREEN ENERGY - they sure do hate eScooters. It's the dual motor 3000 watt off-road 'eScooters' that make people upset. Also Lime scooters did a lot of PR damage, forcing old men in suits to create crappy laws. Most parks just prohibit unpaved eScooter riders, but Fairview, Mile Square and others allow paved riding as long as you go 8mph around pedestrians & 12 when nobody is around. 25mph anywhere near humans is going to get eScooters in hot water. I have seen cops ignore almost all eScooter riders unless they are just idiots, but legally there is a lot of places you can ride them, despite the CA laws restricting unpaved access. OC has a lot of housing tracts that are connected to non-regional parks and 'green-belts'. Unless it's posted you can take an eScooter to most municipal parks and paved trails. _CA law says you gotta have a license of some sort, max speed is 15mph period, and only allowed on 25+ MPH roads when a Class 2 Bike Lane exists, eScooters are NEVER allowed on sidewalks unless access to adjacent driveways mandates it._
Thanks Dave. I never, ever, ever would have figured that out. I even pulled the lever twice in the beginning, but one of the pulls must not have registered.
My question is: IF WE EVER have a flood, would the Bluff area be at risk? I just want to know for preparedness. I wanted to know if you have any history on whether THE BLUFFS were ever impacted by flooding. During rain, the walking trails are always flooded. Thank you.
I don't know any Bluffs in Costa Mesa or Newport Beach that have been affected by flooding. We have houses falling off the bluff on Galaxy Road. I heard that there are a couple houses on Pacific Avenue where the mountain is eroding in a way that they're going to have problems in the next couple years. I'm not sure what Bluffs you're referring to but I don't know of any problems in regards to flooding . Historically it is the 17th, 18th St. area that floods the most. Center St., Pomona Avenue and some other low line areas. I have a video I think I posted a couple years ago where Mesa Verde was flooded really bad.
Thank you so much! The Park, located on the corner of Victoria Place, Pacific Avehue, (right before you reach Brookhurst if you're heading North on Victoria - which turns into Hamilton), is the area I'm most interested in. This is where the Riverbed is and the homes in the Bluff side are located. Our weather has been pretty interesting over the past few years......all over the US.
Yes I know that area well, I lived at 2031 Pacific Ave., I went to Estante high school right there and my family owned the property on the corner of Wilson and Pacific One day those houses on that Bluff I think will have a severe problem to deal with but for now to my knowledge I think you guys are in the clear. I would personally be more in fear of fire than flood, even if the riverbed overflowed like it almost did in 1987 I think both of the house on the bluff will be OK
2013 and older is different. For my 2013, just pull inside latch once. Find outside lever -- near middle of hood but slightly to your right -- and push it UP. When it finally opens, you look at the latch and say, "?!? But that looks so easy. How could it be any simpler?" lol 2013 directions above will work on multiple older years, but still older models at some point may have a different technique.
I have another video you can watch on my channel where right after that video was shot eight or nine helicopters landed in that parking lot one at a time. This particular helicopter was cleaning the sand off the asphalt just so that when the other helicopters showed up it wasn't a sand storm
This is exactly why I made the video because that's exactly what I said to my wife. Bro I could still remember standing in the garage scratching my head trying to figure out how to open the damn hood.
Bro, captain Dave was a Crab Boat Captain for 25 + years. The boat is a real deadliest catch crab boat and that tourist trap is one of the best things to see and do when your in Alaska
Did you message me on Reddit, I was just on Read two minutes ago I had over 20 private messages but I didn't see one today about from Florida What part of Florida are you in? If you're in the Tampa Bay area I have several good recommendations for you but unfortunately time is catching up with me and I don't have the contacts I used to have
Did the pilot land and inspect the tail boom for damage? Was this incident at the September 2022 Cars and Copters? That EC-120B helicopter (N88EC) was at the 2022 show. It has since been sold to a company in Tennessee and has been flying there this entire month.
@@costamesadave Yeah, I was a little confused on the timing. I just wanted to check if the helicopter had sustained damage and when I looked up the registration I saw it's been in Tennessee all month. I sure hope the new owners got a good inspection on it before buying. It wasn't a big hit, but the torque created by the rotors is significant. Even if it didn't damage the ducted fan or drive shaft, bending the tail boom is a possibility.
I posted a couple videos today this one being one of them and then if you look in my past posts I have a video where all the helicopters land at the beach and this one landed without any problems but the guy that flew it away I think was the owner of the helicopter and he was not experienced or I should say he did not look like he had as much experience as a guy who landed it. He had a couple really nice cars in a boat that matched does helicopter. The paint jobs were very similar if not the same. The guy showed up with a lot of really nice equipment .
i have a question within the car, the thing to open the hood is sticking out😂i just started driving and i never seen this before while driving. I asked a friend a mine who works on cars and he said the wire attached to the thing to pull out for the hood snapped. My question is, is it a easy fix or would i have to go to a mechanic?😭
Unfortunately my friend I have no idea, I know how to open her but I don't know how to fix it. I will probably take it to the dealership and see what they have to say .
