Both knives are great. The button lock is a smidge larger than the frame lock I guess due to the button but it just depends on how I’m feeling that day on which to carry
It shouldn’t matter about the bearings. Mine uses the stock ones. Only way I can describe it is by pushing up on the lock towards the 1:00 position until you feel that the lockbar is going to come out of that hooked part. From there, the force should just let it fly closed. If need be, message me on IG using the same name and I can send a video maybe explaining it better
I dig the new Midtech that he released. It’s a lot more slimmer but yeah…nothing like a custom full thickness tank like this one. I wanna try to get a Damascus tyr once they become available again
Sorry for the late reply. I travel for work and these damn notifications never pop up. Anyways, if you want to send me a video of your issue you can reach out on my IG. Makes me wonder if anything has changed compared to mine
Hello, very nice video. Are you going to record a video of how you disassemble this knife into its first parts? It would be nice to see all its parts in detail. I've been looking and no one seems to have done it yet. This lock button system is very interesting.
Hi, if you have a free moment, please post a video or at least photos of the details of the knife disassembled. Thank you very much.@@the_knife_degenerate

I have a large F3 and from the moment I picked it up I hated it. Action feels about as smooth as a rhino's ass, and would it kill the dude to knock down the razor sharp edges on the freaking flipper tab? Took me 3 minutes with a stone to do.
I hear you. I have a medium f3 and wasn’t crazy about it. After hearing Scott over at USAMB say he’s gotten way better, I would give it another shot. Dude, this one is awesome! They are upping their game
Looks fantastic. The Damascus model was definitely the one to get. Gotta love Whitty at usamdeblade and the exclusives he does for us. Congrats on this one 🤙
Scott is the best! This is my first Damascus Spartan and love the details that went into the knife. I bought a plain Magnacut model from him that I’m gonna make as a user but I wanna do some anodizing to it before I put it in the rotation. Once I get the time to do it, you know I’ll show it off.
Spartan look like very high class gas station knives. That being said beautiful knife. How do they compare to hinderers? I know they are a little more expensive but I've never held either.
They’re right up there with Hinderer. They do have plain jane models so you don’t have to get the special editions. These harsey models are definitely not a gas station knife. A full ti Hinderer xm18 is right up there in price if you think about it.
Thanks Loucifer. I do a lot of paracord items myself - and another thing you can do where you're melting the one and pushing it inside the other - is NOT to make it hot and put it in but slide it in and put a couple stitches with a thread and needle through it to hold it together. Honestly on the majority of mine I just melt them together rolling them to try and keep them from being too bulky. I make lanyard's but I also make a lot of monkey's fists and will sometimes mix two different paracords together like that. Thanks for your items you've loaned to MC to help him with his content. Awesome stuff!!
I was literally watching videos about monkey fists and wanna find be a nice size ball to make one. Thanks for your input on the paracord stuff and thank you for the kind words! 🤘🏼
Hey bud! They’re super snappy little guys. I’m a fan of my full size knives for sure but a nice lighter carry for the summer time or a well deserving fifth pocket carry. It’s still a heavy duty knife for being a smaller knife. Scott from USA made blade compares it to the Hinderer Halftrack and even that knife is a little badass. I’d say go for it since USAMB has plenty in stock and different variants.
