Very cool!! (btw, can you give me the name of your main channel again (the one with the full recordings)? i'd suscribed to it when you first told me about it, but for some reason it's not showing up in my notifications... cheers!)
We are in the Boston area. This venue is in Somerville and is no longer around. We mostly now do Livestream SHOWs from my Studio Evil Clown Headquarters.... subscribe here: ru-vid.com/show-UClfRlTeeHnSxRsJTkFakiJwvideos
@@urbulibaba That's not a simple question to answer. The best thing to do is check out my webpage: evilclown.rocks/ This video is from one project of many over a very long period of time. The project for this video is Leap of Faith Orchestra & Sub Units - 13 performances by this ensemble occurred between 2017 and 2019 while this venue (Third Life Studios in Somerville MA) was available. There were 31 different musicians who performed on at least one of those shows. Here are the pages on my Site for that ensemble: evilclown.rocks/lofo-sub-units/ evilclown.rocks/lofosu-boxset/ I have a bunch of current different ensembles - which are not really "bands" in the regular sense - because they are based around a central idea rather than a fixed personnel. The current roster of musicians for Evil Clown has about 50 members - some contribute to a single ensemble and some play in many of them.
@@brendanfolmar3237 I love Sun Ra. Been listening since the 80s. Seen him live several times. Have well over 100 of his albums. Marshall Allen, John Gilmore and Roscoe Mitchell from Art Ensemble of Chicago are primary influences on my horn playing.
I prefer "Improvisation", although I use the term experimental since it is a standard descriptor... However, we have a thoroughly defined methodology and aesthetic, so we are not really experimenting... thanks for listening
