Just a whole bunch of random videos about anything. I started this channel in 2006 when hard drive space was at a premium. I took videos and didn't want to take up valuable space on my hard drive, so I started using this channel as storage for my little videos. All these years later (and even with virtually unlimited hard drive space), I'm still doing it, and am at almost 2.5 million views! Maybe you found my channel because you like one of the bands that I'm a fan of, maybe because you like food as much as I do, maybe because you're planning a trip to Mexico (or are Mexican), maybe you were just bored. To be honest, all my videos are just like my own little snapshots, and I don't really put much effort into them. But whatever your reason for watching or subscribing, thanks for paying attention to my little corner of the internet!
Nooo, not even close! I have four Iron Maiden merch videos that have 44k, 42k, 42k and 29k. And several others (not music related) that have over 100k (one is close to one million). But yeah, this is my best one this year, for sure.
Hey, thanks for watching! Hmmm, I'm not exactly sure. Some will show up at El Chopo, some at various random places around the city. Even after 21 years of concerts here, it's always amazing how much merch there is and how much is left over, and it's a mystery as to where it all goes.
do you have the contact of the store or something about, the 31:56 min ...i need to contact them. Excelent quality shirts.. love your videos thank you for coming.
Thanks for the attention to detail! Nooo, no idea about any of them. And I don think any have an actual store, or maybe just a few. But yeah, those shirts were $50 more than everyone else, but they really were better (and I did buy the white one that I pointed out at 31:59). And as an unexpected bonus, they put it in a nice 72 Seasons bootleg tote bag.
@@danbowskimexico thats the shirt i looking for ..and justice for all.. and some other ...if someone can give me some information ill apreciate .. Thank you again Dan.
Ah! Well, there's a place called AL Capone #79 that also sells that shirt. I saw it at El Chopo yesterday. Not quite as good as this one in the video, but still a great shirt (I did buy a shirt from them yesterday, to be shown in the upcoming video). They have a Facebook page. Contact them and see if they ship, or go to El Chopo, if you live in CDMX.
@@danbowskimexico i bought a pair of shirts on the first sunday.. but they dont have my size , thats why im looking for them ...i will search his facebook shirt. thanks again.
Great vid Dan! This takeover week has been great you’ve really put in a ton of work bringing this to us along. It kind of reminds me of Discovery channels shark week 😂. Maybe a yearly deep dive takeover week can be an annual thing depending on what bands are in town.
Right on Chris, thanks again for your help! And I appreciate the appreciation! I'm going to Iron Maiden and Paul McCartney in November, expect something similar.
Hi friend. I loved your video, the dynamic of leaving your house for the concert and then returning home. I hope you had a lot of fun. Greetings from Mexico City. I hope to see you someday in El Chopo. Hugs brother. 👋🏼🫂🤟🏼
Than you Dan for finding the green jacket!!🤟🤟I didn’t know they had a black one until I went back to your first video but guy said $1800 wondering if they say a different price depending who you are? Anyway thanks again for the video!!
Hmmm, I don't think, and have never got the impression that they shift the prices. They're always the same, for everybody. But, there were a few things that were cheaper last night than the first weekend (can't remember if I pointed that out in the video).
Thanks, Randers! Yeah, pretty much open air. They added an overhang around the while stadium as a key thing in thr renovations this year. It adds a nice touch.
I love your Videos Mr Dan, Yo asistí a los 2 conciertos pero la mayoria del tiempo estuve formado en los accesos y no me moví de ahí,espero para la proxima poder conocerlo🤘🏻🇲🇽⚫🟡
NOT ONE DRUGGY HOMELESS! Wow! Stupid USA needs to learn from Mexico PD/security to not put up with that shit! No graffity on the trains or seats, did not see one homeless on fentanol on the trolley! The prices are fantastic also. One twenty five for a taco? About 2 fifty for that great looking burrito? Four twenty five for a torta? Yes! Yes! Yes!~ Here in US their now asking 14 for a fkng burrito! Twenty bucks for a pound of carnitas? Its getting nasty! PS How much is your rent?
I'm going to the gig tomorrow, I'll see you there....and Metal up'yar a**s. I didn't know you live in Cuerna..lot of heat over there. When are you going to El Chopo again?, let us know to your RU-vid followers, many of us want to meet you in person! Greetings
Man 🤯 the merch is effin amazing 😍!!!. I bought some shirts at the LA concert and from their website. I could've bought myself a couple jackets, and atleast 10 tshirts from the bootleggers. I wish I was there just for the merch 🥹
dude, i hit you up in your other vid, from cuerna and hiking also... forget about pullman, just blablacar, for real. i'll send you pm... are you on fb?
Haha, I still don't trust BlaBlaCar. I actually like Pullman, for the most part, except that the last bus runs so early. I always have awesome naps on the way back.
I completely agree with you on the lack of organization and assistance from the staff. I paid for transportation from the concert via Ticketmaster Ticket2Ride. There was no signage or directions on the pickup location. I asked stadium’s personnel, they had no information. I found a booth for the ticket2ride, they kept trying to sell me a ticket. I told them I already had one if they could direct me to the pickup location. They gave me some vague instructions. I ended lost somewhere near the tennis courts and having to pay for an Uber half an hour later and finally getting home 2 hours later. It somewhat ruined my concert experience. I definitely will reconsider attending a concert there in the future.
Man, that sounds sooooo Mexican. I always wonder what foreigners think when they come to Mexico, and deal with this crap. The simplest, most basic things get fucked up, and nobody ever has an answer as to why. It's just Mexico. What a disgrace.
Any guy that has spent 18 years on those micros has earned his right to complain...you tell 'em Dan! like your videos and your vibe...hey i complain about Chilango paradigms too (im from Baja)
i just don't get it why that many people like metallica they have some good songs some other awful if I have to choose one probably would be Orion for me this guys are like Taylor swift
they evolved...they had the balls to change their sound...and well if you're a trash metal band then you go and do beautiful songs that Elton John called some of the best songs ever written...bands that evolve like that deserve at least my admiration...if you wanna go ahead and trash Elton John for being soft then, well, i guess we appreciate music diferently
Ha! I got a torta there every time I went there for over two years, sometimes on the way there and back. Just wasn't feeling it. And I got a burrito at this place again on Friday (bistec, this time). A new tradition is born!
Well, all the neighbourhoods are Mexican...IN MEXICO! They call those little buses by different names in different places, but it's "ruta" in Cuernavaca, I think "micro" the preferred nomenclature in Mexico City, and "combi" I think is pretty generic throughout the country.
@@danbowskimexico Well, Mexico city has its names for transportation like combi for those vans, pecera(fish tank) or micro for school bus size. In Oaxaca city we call them combi, suburban, burban for vans and for school bus size just transporte, urbano for those long college buses size. For taxis we call them colectivo or taxi, and Mexico city I think they call them just taxi.
