I recently bought a Lincoln Town Car with 210k miles. The main reason I bought it was for the reliability and being relatively easy to work on yourself.
My Female Friend did the samething the 1st time she started my 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis LS & didn't pull the column shifter in all the way to put it in drive. I was devastated.😬

Sorry to see that you sold your beautiful Lincoln Town Car. 😢😢Back in 2007, it took me awhile to find a nice used Lincoln Town Car at a decent price. I ended up buying a 2002 Town Car that had 36k miles on it, and paid $11,750. Not long after I bought it, I was in a parking lot and a guy was looking at it and wanted to buy it. He made several offers, but I kept saying no. He finally went up to $15,000 and I was tempted to sell it, but I didn't. Seventeen years later, it's still my daily driver!!

Nick, you weren't greedy about the price. That's big of you, but you might have got a little more for it. I had to laugh at the unsubscribing comment where you replied you were going to cry. It's like he was saying without that Town Car you were nothing. Going from a LTC to a Bravada is enough punishment in itself. It's like going from a Harley to a Vespa. I am glad you never modified it, either. I think making videos about the Bravada is kind of pointless, seeing there are thousands of great Bravada channels already and you would just get lost in the sheer volume of them.
@@richardsemione7012 Gotta love people of the internet! I’m sure if I truly wanted to I could have gotten more for the town car, but at the end of the day it went to a guy who truly will take care of it and that is also important to me too
Im sure you have heard this alot but you could have gotten alot more. Anthony would have sold that for 25K you could have got at least 18-19. I would have been interested along with others had we known it was for sale.
@@edwardleyland1979 I’ve posted videos in the past regarding selling as well as would tell people in my videos to send me an offer if they’re interested. Some people emailed me but for the most part weren’t serious about giving an offer
I’ve enjoyed your videos on the Town Car. You are a very straightforward guy, a little different than most automotive You Tubers. May want to consider visiting one of the classic car auctions, whether one of the Arizona auctions out my way in Arizona in January (or the Mecum FL auction the same month) or the Fall Carlisle out in PA or the up-and-coming GAA classic car auctions in Greensboro, NC. There is a real “sweet spot” at some of these auctions where there are nice, usually lower mileage examples of (usually) well-maintained vehicles at or near the bottom of their depreciation curves-kinda like your Town Car. The cars aren’t always cheap but there are some gems. (I am still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on at least one of several low mileage 2003 and 2004 “special interest” Mustangs (Mach I and Cobras) for sale at the MAG Auction (NOT Barrett-Jackson) that may never be priced as low again.) Good luck in the future

I’ve always told myself that when it comes to making RU-vid videos, I’d be as transparent and real as possible with my viewers/audience, so I appreciate you recognizing that. I always try to be as genuine as possible when it comes to posting content. I’ll definitely do some research on those auctions.
@@midwestpanther98 There’s a lot of things that can change the price. Distance, the type of vehicle, if it’s an enclosed or open trailer, etc. but in this specific instance, it was $1200 for the enclosed trailer
Just get the advance auto app order online store pick up saves a ton I get 5 quart jug Mobil one and a Mobil one oil filter tax and everything is 42 dollars
You are absolutely correct is your comments about your LTC. I own a 2005 LTC and do love it! When my wife got in for the first time she said the seats are more comfortable than our living room couch. When I bought this a couple of years ago, I don’t believe anyone had ever ridden in the back seat! Correct on quiet ride down the highway. I love driving down the road 80 mph sitting on a comfy couch! The only thing you will hate is the dreaded water leak around your fresh air intake that will fill your back passenger floor with about 5 inches of water when you have a heavy rainstorm. On the right side. If you always keep in garage you’ll be ok. Easy fix though. Have fun and enjoy.
Damn that's in great condition. I bought an '03 from my neighbor for 600 bucks. The interior was covered in dog hair and the leather is dirty and cracked. The body is in decent shape though just a few scuffs but for a 600$ daily so I don't have to rack miles on my project car... I'm happy. They give such a nice relaxing comfy drive
I bought an 05 Acura tl 100k good condition..this car right here would of been nice e to have as well ,I actually still want 1 of the 3 different models if this car
Have an 04 Ultimate. Very inexpensive to purchase. Common failure easy and cheap to fix…….. DDM drivers door module took literally 10 min to replace. Cost of part $149 Air ride bags will leak. Got a kit including air bags, 2 rear shocks and a new compressor. $315. Took a couple of hours to install That’s it. Great easy fix cars. Engines go 200-300k miles easy.
I’m buying a LTC within the next 2weeks. I’ve been wanting an LTC since I test drove one 8/9 yrs ago. With inflation and the price of everything going up I can’t afford the car I have anymore. My insurance is just as much as my car note ($318 car ins $338 car note) 🥴 I can’t wait to buy this thing in cash!
