Hey Preston its me who made the plank and had mistakes in it I uploaded a RU-vid video and unlisted it as you wanted Can you tell me where can I privately send you the video link
Hey Preston i’m Zidane from india doing my a levels currently and i have been inspired by rc planes and fluid dynamics So naturally i decided to make rc models and few of them were very successful but few weren’t I have gotten intrigued by your rc plank flyer model and wanted to build my own and replicated exactly what you did but my model seems to have major flaw If i could just have you look at the model and tell me whats wrong ,I think that would help me a whole lot Thank you Preston I will send you the picture and footages on instagram ( couldn’t find you on Facebook)
hey! I'm reluctant to share my personal info with people on the internet. If you make a youtube video (you can unlist it) I would be more than happy to provide comments
Highkey love this cover of the keyboard solo, it's the best part of the song and I love looping it, you nail it mate. Been listening to this on repeat at work in excess of 2 hours.
Thank you for the great video…that little plank flies AWESOME!-Very inspiring…I’m gonna build one myself using some repurposed electronics. What happened to the winglets you originally had on the model? And what’s the wing span?
yes! If I had the chance to redesign I would have rounded the inlet lip instead of leaving it a sharp corner and conformed the intake more to the size of the EDF itself. Assuming no new boundary layer turbulence issues, I could have shrunk everything down a little and reduced the inlet size altogether (and maybe given me a tad more thrust).
@@pablopower4023 that's what I thought too, until you realize a.) there are power lines b.) there are always people walking everywhere and c.) you REALLY don't want to damage any of the buildings
That wont win any competition flying trophies and will never even show in a beauty contest, but it's probably a blast to fly and really affordable to replace... well done, I love it.
