I am having issues with the pathing - under the PROC IMPORT, datafile= “C:\Users\shaworth2\Documents\tabdelim.txt”; keeps adding a = to the end in the log and says it can be read. Any advice?
Why do you have to turn ODS graphics off after running graphing statements? When is it necessary to turn ODS graphics on prior to these statements? Thanks!
Good day Ivy. IYou lecture is interesting to beginners like me. Unfortunately, I tried to upload excel data using the code you provided but kept receiving the following error message: OPTIONS NONOTES NOSTIMER NOSOURCE NOSYNTAXCHECK; 68 69 PROC IMPORT OUT= pgtrial; ERROR: FILE= or TABLE= is required and must be specified. NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors. This is the code I entered: PROC IMPORT OUT= pgtrial; DATAFILE="C:\Users\hp\Documents\11SAS PRACT\pgtrial.xlsx"; DBMS=EXCEL REPLACE; GETNAMES=YES; /* put yes if the first row is the headers*/ MIXED= YES; USEDATE= YES; SCANTIME= YES; RANGE="Sheet1"; RUN;
Hi, I'm a beginner in VBA and learning to automate mundane daily/weekly/monthly tasks. I would like to automate our monthly stock take processes. I have divided all tasks into blocks to address each issue separately. I have successfully automated three/four blocks. The next two/three blocks are way more advanced than I can handle. I see part of the solutions in the script you Demo'd in the video. Can you possibly assist? I have a sheet that contains source data. The source data( only certain cells from all the rows) should be split evenly into X(variable based on available staff that can count) amount of new workbooks. Each created workbook will contain a section of the source data that a staff member will use to count stock inventory using tablets. The data is captured and entered into specific cells, until all items are counted. Once that sheet is completed and saved it should automatically create a PDF copy with date time stamp. The source data should now retrieve the count applicable to each product code from the workbooks that was originally created. There are duplicate product codes and therefore should match specific criteria before the count is used. Once the data is entered into the source data it will immediately indicate if the stock balances, is short or extra stock. If there is a variance, then all rows that contain a variance, should be copied and place in the sheet "Variance Recount 1". It is quite a process, but I believe 95% of the tasks can be automated. Can you indicate if you can give advice/guidance? Regards
So grateful for your video🥰. Its made my work so easy. I used to take hours cause my knowledge was limited by now data analysis would take up an hour or less. Thank you.
"Our clients are not sophisticated in analytics and the language we use.......... these people are from our parents generation" . Terrible way to frame up any group of people. Very surprise that Deloitte allowed this to be posted
Doe anyone know where we can download this software, they claim it came with the book but I got the electronic copy of the book and did not receive a CD
