One of those crazy one-hit wonders that landed in the USA (unless you already knew who they were and you were a fan, of course). Back when having a Kenwood or Blaupunkt system in your car was considered cool. Really brings back some good memories. I always loved just how upbeat this song way - you just couldn't be depressed listening to this.
[Verse 1] I never knew there'd come a day When I'd be sayin' to you "Don't let this good love slip away Now that we know that it's true" [Pre-Chorus] Don't, don't you know the kind of man I am? No, said I'd never fall in love again But it's real, and the feeling comes shining through [Chorus] I'm so caught up in you, little girl And I never did suspect a thing So caught up in you, little girl That I never wanna get myself free And baby, it's true, you're the one Who caught me, baby, you taught me How good it could be
Just effing unreal. I recently saw the Sammy's Best of All Worlds band do this and, though it was a dream to get to see Satriani and Jason Bonham play those songs, especially this one, it can't have the right swing without Eddie and Alex. That's in no way a knock on Joe who is my favorite living guitarist. It just is what it is.
Classically trained as an opera singer, crossed over somewhere to being a rock goddess. However, Years later?, She won't sing. "Hit me with your best shot", because she says there's too much violence in it down playing who she became in the 70s and the 80s that made her that big star, and she's just denying everything. It's sad.
I hope you get this John the pain don’t go away and I never will between me and my exes. If you think my pain is gonna go away, I forgive my exes, but I don’t forget. Stop playing stupid ass games.
I was born in 1984. I discovered this ARTIST a few years ago and I love her ever since. I’ve only listened Love is A Battlefield about 15 years ago not knowing all the great songs she has. I would die to have seen her live in the 80’s 🥲
I worked in the music business for 20+ years and Ive seen maybe 150 concerts. The best sounding live band I EVER heard in my life was the classic "Escape" line up of Journey! Steve Perry, Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Ross Valory and Steve Smith. Truly incredible musicians!
The 80s!!! You loved and you hated. But more importantly you loved the things that you hated. You could hug your enemies back then instead of trying to destroy them on social media. I miss those times
