i used to work for bev callards husband years ago steve, i actually really liked the bloke despite his bad boy reputation, i remember their divorce after he was caught cheating on her and the news of the world ambushing me asking questions about him outside where i worked it was a crazy time.needless to say but i never spoke a word to the papers about him despite being offered cash

This era would have been the perfect time to bring Robert back when the show was good and the love of his life in trouble not the shite they did later on😂
The fictional character of den was nout more than a little manipulating weasle who got his just desserts in the end by a women, and who got knocked flat on his arse by phil mitchell multiple times.
Some of the lunacy was appropriate. There were other good scenes from the early days, such as when he had to fend off Audrey Roberts' sexual harassment, but there are many great ones here. Half the time, you have to laugh in spite of the gravity of a situation because of his accent and how much he overreacts. (Not sure how many Irish people, whether in the realm or not, appreciate that, but I'm just saying.)
