I got Christmas gift from my dad one year to go out with a fishing guide and the guy had a Bass cat Pantera 2 and I remember how blown away I was of the hole shot and speed of that boat. That was in the early 90's if my memory is right. Awesome Boat.
Hey man gave ya a sub, do you feel like that p2 leaves you wanting more of a boat. I’ll be buying one soon and am a little lost as the newest boat I’ve owned is a 2001 javelin renegade 20 and want more deck space.
Prob does lol my 93 p2 with a 06 200 3.0 liter big block efi 200 can hit 83mph but I have the big block 3.0 liter nit the 2.5 small block. I have motor and prop work done on mine.
Basscater81 does your p2 leave you wanting more of a boat I’m looking at buying a new boat soon and am a little unsure what route to take I’m currently running an 2001 javelin renegade 20 and I feel the deck is a little small like the nitro z18 is bigger I think lol.
Sorry for late reply. No I love my P2. Fish a lot by myself so I have plenty of room/storage. Will eventually upgrade to cougar FTD. This guys boat screams though! Seen other video of him running close to 85. This is with Yamaha sho with reflashed ECU. Stock 200 P2 will not run anywhere near those speeds.
I totally agree with the other comments. I've never been able to get my pee to anywhere near those numbers. I would really like to know what your setup is and what prop your running
Just purchased a 2018 P2 with 200 sho. Are those speeds straight off the factory line? If no did you make mods like new flash or polish/blue print the prop? Also prop size. 25p?
