I love my U;traCool. I got the one that mounts on the down tubes, just below the regulator. It's barely noticeable, and it looks good anyway. But what I like about it most is it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It keeps my oil temps down considerably and keeps it there.
I was surprised that this video lacked more details than most of your other video’s do. You should have done a step by step installation with better lighting
You guys need to put in bigger writing on your website that the newer dynas need that 6 pin connector. Now I have a oil cooler with fans that don't work because I didn't know if need that aswell. Not happy right now. I would have happily purchased it if I knew but it's in a small section labeled " you might need aswell" well geuss what I didn't know till iam working on my bike and installing it.
Is there a version how I can set it up with an on and off switch? I stunt my bike and when I’m in the stunt lot I want to be able to turn it on. Also what’s the amp draw?
I have it installed, took about 5 hours the install went good, not bad at all. I have about 700 miles, so far with zero leaks, or problems. I've been out on some warm days in the upper 80's, in some stop and go traffic and havnt had the fans kick on yet. The overall temp of the engine is much lower, and is noticeable. I have the twin cooling on my bike along with the ultra cool, so I'm hoping I'm covered on overheating. Never had a problem before, just some extra assurance.
What about when cruising on a warm day and the fans are not running, there will be minimal air flow until the fans kick on. But if you are cruising down the road the fans will not be running most likely due to air flowing threw the cooler. But that air will be hotter than the air that would pass threw the door without the cooler mounted there. Wouldnt that make it very uncomfortably warm for my left leg? I usually allways have the door open for fresh air on my left leg and boot cause its needed so my leg dont bake. Thats my only concern with this mod.
why not provide that plastic piece replacement already cut with a kit? just make a mold out of fiberglass or get plastic from overseas, so it can be as simple as pop oem off with putty knife and re-glue new piece with tape. I'd rather pay a some extra for that then tinker around with saw blades, box knives, markers, etc while the lower is sliding all over the table. would just make more sense to me
Have you done any before and after temperatures to show reduction in temp? Do the fans run all the time or by temp gauge? What about the air flow to your legs since that is blocked? How does one keep the outside fairing finish from being scratched given all the required modifications?

Beautiful bike, love what you did to it. wonder what it looks like with bags, did you take them off cause they covered up everything you had going on in the rear?
