@@SuperTurboman85 We have some problems with it, it needs a new exhaust because it leaks and the muffler broke off (it sounds good tho, soo we are thinking about buying a sport muffler). And it need a gas pedal sensor because sometimes it dont want to register the imput, but when we turn it off and start it up again it works just fine. Other than that it is a good car.
Hello! I buy my parts from my local parts store. They check that the parts fit Before I buy them. But many companies online have so you can check that parts fits your car before you buy them via your registration number. :-)
Haha Terve! They come out here in Sweden from time to time for cheap money but this VT model is also available in 4x4 but not often. But for the FR model and the real Cupra, prices have started to rise quite a lot. :-)

Hello! Sorry for the late reply! All the parts that I bought are not original parts. I bought them at my local auto parts store and some parts on Ebay. The engine was very worn and drank a lot of oil.

I don't know how you did that timing belt with the engine mounts still done up. I remove the engine mounts and move the engine around so I have more room and it's STILL a struggle.
Hello! Excuse the late reply! Yes, it was very tight to get the timing belt there. I have never installed a timing belt in a car with less space haha :-)
@@SuperTurboman85 when I was an apprentice we had a Holden Barina (Opel Corsa) come in for a fan belt. The pulley is so close to a pinch weld you have to remove the engine mounts to change a fan belt! The factory manual quoted it as a 3 hour job

Soo cool you keep that 206 rc alive its the must underrated GTI.In my eyes the best GTI ever builed low weight great handling and the tuning on the motor and the Higher 1st gear.

Hi, Thanks for the good videos and information. I have also 206 RC and Iˋm trying to change the timing belt. From your video Iˋm able to see that it is possible to do without lifting the whole engine out of the engine compartment. I have hard time to get timingbelt plastic covers off from engine since there is so little space. Unfortunately you didnˋt show how you did that in your video. Can you please give some hints how did you get the plastic covers off, so I don't need to remove whole engine. Thanks!
Hello Juntumi1 and Big tnx!! Glad to hear you have a similar model! The lower plastic cover can be a little difficult to remove, but it can be done. Try to remove all the screws holding the cover so the cover is loose then slide the engine a little to the side and you can also try to raise or lower the engine a little bit with an engine lift. When the cover is loose, try spinning and twisting it in different directions until you find a place that allows you to remove the cover.Not many centimeters are needed to release the plastic cover. Just be careful not to pinch yourself or damage anything!

Klassisk strul på 206 modellerna. Dom har nån flummig Torsion fjädring bak som kärvar. Min bakaxel var bytt för typ 2-3år sen. Så det är bra. Jag hade en peugeot 206 sw förut som bakaxeln var helt fuckt på. Köpte en renoverad axel ifrpn typ polen och så fick en verkstad byta, kostade 8000kr. Det var inte roliga pengar att läga på den skit bilen. 🤣🤣🤣. Ska ju gå att öppna upp den där axeln/dämpningen och smörja upp. Jag bör göra det snart. Har inte gjorts på några år nu.
Ja fasen klassisk sjuka på dem och har det gått för långt som på min så går det inte byta själva lagret bara utan måste renovera/byta hela axeln tyvärr.
@@SuperTurboman85 Yes. Man måste helst slänga in lite cement säckar i bagagen ibland å åka runt med så axeln får jobba lite 🤪. Men dom ska ju vara sjukt bra i själva handlingen, så om man bara sköter axeln så är den ju riktigt bra å svängarna ;)

Jag skulle först rengöra spjälhuset med bromsrengöring och sedan kolla alla vakuum slangar som sitter på eller som går till insuget så insuget inte drar tjuvluft någonstans. Sedan prova även att köra på en tank Shell V-power med en flaska STP complete system cleaner ihällt i tanken och se om det gör någon skillnad efter hela den tanken är uppkörd. Har du även möjlighet så kolla om du kan läsa av några felkoder i bilens sytem. Roligt att ha dig på kanalen! 😃👍✌️🙏
@@SuperTurboman85 Ja fan jävligt kul att hitta din kanal och en annan RC. Tycker det är svårt att hitta vettig info på nätet osv om just RC modellen. Ofta är det 136hk gti modellen folk yrar om. Så riktigt kul att du köpt en liten "Mygga" med 🤪🤣👍🔥. Jag har haft den i 2 år kanske. Ddn var lite moddad när jag köpte den. Ganska snygga 18tums svarta silver list fälgar. Ny stereo, med mic, bluetooth osv. Öppet sportluftfilter. Sen har jag målat bromsoken lila. Tagit bort vindrutetorkaren/motor bak. Bytt massa delar i framvagnen. Ena fjädern. En bunt med olika stabiliserings stag på båda sidor. Bromsbackar fram. Olja å oljefilter byttes nyss. Även växellåds olja. Kamremen byttes nyss(lämnade in den på peugeot, för svårt för mig). Sportratt har jag satt dit(lyckades paja styrservon och antispin då tyvärr. Men fick fel ratt nav, så skyller på dom. Tappade tålamodet där efter ett tag haha) Men det finns å göra på bilen, har ju några år på nacken. Men han är för jävla rolig att köra. Körde på en av 5100 trackdays på Mantorp park i sommras. Det var jävligt kul. Men däcken och bromsarna pallade ej trycket. Så köpte nya dyra hannkook däck fram nu. Och har köpt ny racebromsvätska som ska i. Men nu lutar det åt att jag ska göra om den till full banbil. Så man slipper besikta, slipper betala skatten och försäkring. Slita ut allt i bilen, försöka få den så lätt som möjligt. Så behöver du nu del så kan det finnas att köpa billigt snart 🤪. Jag har bytt tändstift på bilen. Jag har tagit bort luftmassemätaren och egr ventilen och rengjort(kan fortfaramde vara trasigt, men men). Jag har hält i sån där rengöring i tanken. Så nu är jag inne på topplockspackningen läcker? Lamndasonderna trasiga? Eller den där egnitioncoil pack är trasig?..... Ha det bra :)
Ska kolla läckage i slangar först som du sa ja. Det brukar vara känt fel. Dom spricker i böjar osv. Men är mest problem.på turbo bilar? Kanske är lika känsligt här.... det får bli steg 1. :)
Greetings from Turkey. I have the same car but there is a slight difference. It has a small 1.4 engine.😂 Iran stop would be great for this vehicle. You have to use Iranian Tail Lights.
Hello Skate hero!! There are many who put a turbo on the 1.4s with good horsepower figures. So they get good horsepower figures =) We'll see what kind of taillights it will be ;)
Just discovered your channel. Love this project! I'm debating doing a similar project next year! Got a 206 SW and want to refurb the rear axle and fit fresh rocker panels, as well as upgrade brakes and fit coilovers in preparation for a GTI 180 engine swap :) Will be following your project intently! I've had very nice cars in where spray has gotten into the cabin and basically discolored everything in the interior and it's no fun at all. It is a nightmare to remove unfortunately. This primer applies with low pressure and does not dust much at all. 😃👍

How do you determine where the pin with the extra rubber goes? And what is the function of it? Im realy debating this in my head the last few days. (doing a brake revise on my gti 140)

@@SuperTurboman85 Nice 👍 I asked you for the undertray because I heard that only HDi models came with it and not the petrol models but if you want to fit one part numbers for the 3 parts are: 7013.F4 , 7013.Z0 and 7013.X5
