This is awesome, attempted to build it but was unsuccessful. Is there any way you can share how the inside works like the air cylinders position. Ended up just making a basic trash can pop out. But something like this will definitely scare

With the Dimmer + wind PV, self-sufficiency will now increase to almost 95% in summer, which means a huge breakthrough. With a wattmeter / energy cost measuring device you can then measure this perfectly in order to set the dimmer optimally. .................

Good design! The impact, that is created, when the blades touch its limitation will destroy them by higher windspeed. This impact could be controled by something like a spring or shockabsorbing oilflow. Something that increases its resistance by the power the wind realizes. You can find the idea in something like that, what keeps your luggage compartment lid open or at the Ikea drawers or cabinet doors in your kitchen. Can be mounted without big engeneering effort at the connection from blade to shaft.

This is a good design for low wind conditions. Unfortunately the flapping of the blades is hard to control and uncontrolled blades do not work well in higher winds and destroy themselves rather quickly in these conditions. That said, anyone who can develop a turbine like this that overcomes the uncontrolled blade flapping problem will be on a winner !

I'v been thinking of this concept that the blades turn perpendicular to wind in one side and parallel when the blade turns. what you'v made is the first . but with this configuration it can worn out soon . what I am thinking is a series of gears to interact and the shaft across the middle of the blade so it wont create impact when adjusting towards wind
