Really great discussion of this issue and how artificial intelligence will influence medical technology and medical liability! I was wondering if you had any thoughts regarding liability considerations when implementing AI technology into practice that might be developed overseas/internationally and how that would influence liability laws.
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 2 месяца назад
Thank you for your insightful comment! Addressing liability considerations when implementing AI technology developed overseas is indeed a crucial aspect of integrating such advancements into medical practice. When adopting AI systems from international sources, there are several key factors to consider regarding liability laws. Firstly, assessing the regulatory framework governing AI technologies in the country of origin is paramount, as it may differ significantly from domestic regulations. Understanding how these regulations align or diverge from local standards is essential for ensuring compliance and managing liability. Additionally, the issue of jurisdictional differences in liability laws poses a significant challenge. Determining which jurisdiction's laws apply in cases of AI-related incidents can be complex, especially if the technology crosses borders or involves multiple stakeholders from different countries. Establishing clear contractual agreements and delineating responsibilities among all parties involved can help mitigate potential legal uncertainties. Moreover, the transparency and accountability of AI algorithms play a crucial role in liability considerations. Ensuring that AI systems are transparently developed, thoroughly tested, and continuously monitored for performance and safety is essential for mitigating risks and attributing liability in the event of adverse outcomes. Overall, navigating the intersection of AI technology and liability laws in an international context requires careful consideration of regulatory frameworks, jurisdictional issues, and the transparency and accountability of AI systems. Collaborative efforts among stakeholders, including policymakers, healthcare providers, and technology developers, are necessary to address these challenges and foster responsible AI integration in medical practice.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment and for highlighting the importance of addressing treatment and management strategies for left bundle branch block (LBBB) on an electrocardiogram (ECG). When it comes to managing LBBB, lifestyle modifications such as adopting a heart-healthy diet, engaging in regular exercise, and avoiding tobacco and excessive alcohol consumption are crucial steps in improving overall cardiovascular health. These lifestyle changes can help reduce the risk factors associated with heart disease and may also contribute to better management of LBBB. In addition to lifestyle modifications, considering the potential benefits of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) with a biventricular pacemaker is an important aspect of management, especially in individuals with symptomatic heart failure and LBBB. CRT aims to improve the coordination of ventricular contractions, thereby enhancing cardiac function and alleviating symptoms in eligible patients. It's also essential for individuals with LBBB to stay vigilant about their cardiovascular health and to work closely with their healthcare providers to monitor their condition and adjust management strategies as needed. Lastly, I appreciate your kind words and extend my best wishes to the trauma surgeon you mentioned. May they find strength and healing, and may we all be blessed with good health and well-being. Amen.

Is it the same same as SVT? Because you often see SVT instead of PSVT.
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 2 месяца назад
Thank you for your question! SVT (supraventricular tachycardia) is a broad term that encompasses several types of rapid heart rhythms originating above the ventricles, including PSVT (paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia). PSVT is a specific subtype of SVT characterized by sudden, rapid heartbeats that originate from abnormal electrical pathways in the heart's upper chambers (atria). While SVT is a more general term, PSVT refers specifically to episodes of rapid heart rate that start and stop suddenly. Both SVT and PSVT share similar symptoms and may require similar diagnostic and treatment approaches. However, distinguishing between different subtypes of SVT, such as PSVT, can help healthcare providers tailor treatment plans more effectively based on the underlying mechanism and individual patient characteristics. In clinical practice, the terms SVT and PSVT are sometimes used interchangeably, but it's important for healthcare providers to accurately diagnose the specific type of arrhythmia to guide appropriate management. If you have concerns about your heart rhythm or have been diagnosed with SVT or PSVT, discussing your condition with a healthcare professional is advisable for personalized evaluation and management.

Thank you for your comment! In left bundle branch block (LBBB), there is indeed a left axis deviation on the electrocardiogram (ECG). This deviation occurs because the electrical impulse in the heart is delayed or blocked in the left bundle branch, leading to altered electrical activation of the ventricles. Regarding your mention of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), it's important to note that CRT can be an effective treatment option for individuals with LBBB and symptomatic heart failure. CRT involves implanting a specialized pacemaker that coordinates the timing of ventricular contractions, helping to improve cardiac function and symptoms in eligible patients. If you or someone you know is considering CRT for LBBB and heart failure, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a comprehensive evaluation and personalized treatment recommendations. They can assess your individual situation and determine the most appropriate management approach to optimize your heart health and well-being.

bloqueio de ramo é a causa sobrecarga do ventrículo?
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 4 месяца назад

Sir crbbb short pr interval what this sir it normal can u plz reply me thank u
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 5 месяцев назад
Certainly! It seems you're asking about a right bundle branch block (RBBB) with a short PR interval. A right bundle branch block is a condition where the electrical impulse in the heart encounters a delay or blockage as it travels through the right bundle branch. This can lead to a distinctive pattern on an electrocardiogram (ECG), characterized by a prolonged QRS duration. A short PR interval on an ECG, which is the time from the beginning of the P wave to the start of the QRS complex, can sometimes be seen in various conditions. Normally, the PR interval ranges from 120 to 200 milliseconds. A shorter PR interval could be a variant of normal in some individuals, but it can also indicate certain conditions such as pre-excitation syndromes, where there's an extra electrical pathway in the heart. In the context of RBBB, a short PR interval doesn't necessarily point to a specific diagnosis but should be interpreted in the context of the overall clinical picture. It's important to correlate these findings with clinical symptoms, history, and possibly further tests. If you have concerns about a specific ECG finding, it's best to discuss this with a healthcare professional who can provide a thorough evaluation and interpretation based on your individual health profile. Please remember, this information is for educational purposes and does not replace professional medical advice.

how to find out the cause of CRBB? At the time of diagnosis, I did holter and ECHO which was a year ago. didn't find anything. I have low diastolic BP around 60 is there possibility that is connected to CRBB?
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 5 месяцев назад
The etiology of complete right bundle branch block (CRBBB) can be varied and multifactorial. The fact that initial tests such as Holter monitoring and echocardiography did not reveal an underlying cause is not uncommon; these findings may suggest that the CRBBB is an isolated electrical conduction delay without structural heart disease. Regarding the connection between low diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and CRBBB, there isn't a direct clinical correlation commonly recognized. Low DBP can be a result of various conditions, including high vascular compliance, low systemic vascular resistance, or medication effects, among others. However, it's important to consider the overall clinical context, as CRBBB can be associated with other cardiovascular conditions that might influence blood pressure. For a more comprehensive evaluation, further investigation might be warranted to rule out other potential causes or contributing factors. This could include advanced imaging, stress testing, or even electrophysiological studies, depending on the clinical judgement and the presence of symptoms or risk factors for cardiac disease. It's always advisable to tailor the investigation to the individual patient's history and presenting symptoms.

@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 6 месяцев назад

I’ve been having bad shortness of breath and dizziness for 8 months. I went to my doctor and ER and got 2 ECGs and I seen Left Bundle Branch Block on his computer. He keeps sending me home and says I’m fine and I’m too young. What do I do?
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 6 месяцев назад
It's important to remember that without a full medical evaluation, it's not possible to provide specific medical advice online. However, experiencing shortness of breath and dizziness for an extended period, coupled with a finding of Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB) on an ECG, certainly warrants further medical attention. LBBB can be a benign finding, especially in younger individuals without other heart problems, but it can also indicate underlying heart conditions. It's crucial that these symptoms and the ECG finding are thoroughly evaluated by a healthcare professional. Here are some steps you might consider: Seek a Second Opinion: If you feel your concerns are not being adequately addressed by your current doctor, it may be beneficial to seek a second opinion from another healthcare provider, preferably a cardiologist. Detailed Assessment: Ensure that a comprehensive cardiac evaluation is done, which may include more than just an ECG. Tests like an echocardiogram, stress test, or even advanced imaging like an MRI may be necessary to get a clearer picture of your heart's health. Discuss Your Symptoms: Make sure to clearly communicate the extent and impact of your symptoms (shortness of breath and dizziness) to your healthcare provider. Sometimes, keeping a symptom diary can be helpful. Lifestyle and Risk Factors: Discuss with your healthcare provider about any risk factors you might have and lifestyle changes that could potentially improve your symptoms and overall cardiac health. Emergency Situations: If you experience a worsening of symptoms or new symptoms like chest pain, seek immediate medical attention. Remember, your health and well-being should always be a priority. It's important to advocate for yourself in the healthcare system to ensure you receive the appropriate care.

In response to the comment regarding the pronunciation of "syncope," it's important to note that medical terms can sometimes have variations in pronunciation, often influenced by regional or linguistic differences. Syncope, pronounced as "SIN-kuh-pee," is the medically accepted pronunciation. It refers to a temporary loss of consciousness usually related to insufficient blood flow to the brain. The term originates from Greek, and its pronunciation has been adapted in medical terminology. It's not uncommon for medical terms to be pronounced differently by individuals, especially those who are not healthcare professionals. However, in a medical setting, "SIN-kuh-pee" is the widely recognized and accepted pronunciation. Thank you for bringing attention to this detail. It's always helpful to clarify medical terminology to ensure clear and effective communication.

Presyncopal Sx, laid down immediately with improvement in Sx and HR within 1 minute to BP 130/79, HR 85. Conclusions: Hypotension and relative or absolute bradycardia provoked during protocol consistent with a neurocardiogenic response. Does that mean vasovagal syncope or neurocardiogenic syncope?
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 7 месяцев назад
Based on the tilt table test results you've described, the findings suggest that your symptoms are consistent with a neurocardiogenic syncope, which is often used interchangeably with vasovagal syncope in clinical practice. The test indicates that when you were subjected to a change in position and given nitroglycerin, which can provoke a vasovagal response, you exhibited a significant drop in blood pressure and heart rate, leading to presyncopal symptoms. These reactions are characteristic of a vasovagal or neurocardiogenic syncope, where there is a sudden decrease in heart rate and blood pressure, leading to reduced blood flow to the brain and consequently, the symptoms you experienced. In essence, the term "vasovagal syncope" is commonly used when describing a syncopal episode triggered by a particular stressor or orthostatic stress, which appears to be the case based on your tilt table test with the administration of nitroglycerin. This reaction is a type of neurocardiogenic response, and so both terms describe the same physiological event, though from slightly different perspectives. Neurocardiogenic syncope is the broader term for a reflex syncope that involves both the nervous system and the heart, while vasovagal syncope is a subset of this, typically triggered by specific vasovagal stimuli. Your tilt table test results support the diagnosis of this type of syncope.

Only 0:49 seconds into the presentation and I cannot take anymore. Soooooo many (too many) MIS-pronunciations suggesting no one with a clinical background and experience in the field reviewed and corrected the errors before uploading / publishing. The narration mistakes became too distracting, which is a shame because, the visuals I saw (until I bailed out) seemed impressive. My advice: Re-record the voice over and republish.

Dear @John-qp1og, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on the video. I sincerely apologize for any mispronunciations and understand how they can be distracting. As a cardiologist specialized in heart rhythm diseases, it is crucial for me to ensure accuracy and clarity in my presentations. I genuinely appreciate your advice, and I will consider re-recording the voice over to improve the overall quality of the video. I hope that with these improvements, you will find the content more informative and enjoyable. Thank you for acknowledging the visuals; I strive to provide the best educational material for my audience. Warm regards.

My intention in posting the feedback was not to be negative for negative’s sake. The voice artist you used for the presentation was of high quality and the visual elements were outstanding and a credit to you. (I wish all educational videos were half as good.) Having the same voice artist re-record the V/O but with the benefit of a producer (even a clinician familiar with the terms) correcting the tricky mispronunciations - and all your hard work would be elevated to a standard way above the norm. The pronunciation of medical terms is a tricky business for anyone unfamiliar - but they do tend to be distracting if your intended audience is largely clinical: fully qualified, or med and nursing students coming through. I hope this expansion of my thoughts is constructive. The voice artist was beaut; your visual effects exceptional. Thank you for taking the time to produce the presentation.

For the diagnosis and management of vasovagal syncope, it would be advisable to consult a cardiologist. In some cases, a referral to an electrophysiologist, who specializes in heart rhythm disorders, may also be warranted for comprehensive evaluation and treatment. Additional tests such as tilt-table tests, ECG, and Holter monitoring may be used to arrive at a definitive diagnosis. Thank you for your inquiry.

@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 8 месяцев назад
O tratamento subsequente dependerá do diagnóstico final.

what is treatment of complete bundle branch block?
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 8 месяцев назад
The management of a complete bundle branch block (CBBB) generally depends on the underlying cause, the presence of symptoms, and any associated cardiovascular conditions. In many cases, CBBB itself may not require specific treatment but may necessitate treating underlying conditions or avoiding exacerbating factors. Here are some common approaches: Monitoring: Regular follow-up with electrocardiograms (ECGs) and possibly echocardiograms to monitor cardiac function. Treat Underlying Conditions: Managing conditions like hypertension, coronary artery disease, or heart failure that may accompany or contribute to the bundle branch block. Symptomatic Relief: For those experiencing symptoms such as syncope or palpitations, medications or devices like pacemakers might be considered. Device Therapy: A pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) may be indicated for certain patients, especially if there are symptoms or additional risk factors for arrhythmias. Lifestyle Modifications: Diet, exercise, and other lifestyle changes may be recommended to improve overall cardiovascular health. Ongoing Surveillance: Periodic reassessment is typically advised to monitor for any progression of the disease or emergence of symptoms. It's essential to consult with a healthcare provider for a thorough evaluation and tailored treatment plan.

Your video lacks an objectivise view. I noticed you didn’t mention the benefits of natural infection, how the vaccine has harmed a lot of people (myself included vaccine injured),… benefits of Vitamin D and the two drugs that are censored in RU-vid comments (finally being recognised as one of the most effective treatments) to name a few now having more recognition. It appears to me that it is not in your best interests to share the truth, (as it’s also not for the shareholders of pharmaceutical industries and Big Pharma themselves)… or you are just really bad at doing research and have been asleep these last few years?

Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and for sharing your perspective. I understand that the topic of COVID-19 vaccines and heart health is a complex and emotionally charged one, and I respect your right to voice your concerns. My goal as a medical professional specialized in cardiology is to provide evidence-based information. While it's true that I focused on the vaccine's role in heart health, it's not to say that other approaches to COVID-19 prevention and treatment are not worth discussing. Natural infection and other treatments do have their own sets of data, which can be explored in a separate video or discussion. It's unfortunate to hear that you've had an adverse experience with the vaccine. Vaccine safety is an important topic and any adverse events should be reported and investigated. Regarding the comments about the influence of pharmaceutical industries, I can assure you that my primary responsibility is to my patients and the dissemination of scientifically grounded information. The subject matter is evolving, and new research is published regularly, which should be included in the ongoing discourse. Your points are noted, and I appreciate the opportunity for this dialogue. Thank you again for your comment.

Thank you for your continued engagement and for expressing your viewpoint. The role of individual research in making informed healthcare decisions is indeed crucial, and I encourage everyone to gather as much information as they can. The efficacy of the immune system varies from person to person and can be influenced by numerous factors, including age, pre-existing conditions, and even genetic predispositions. Vaccines are intended to work in conjunction with your immune system to provide an extra layer of defense, especially in cases where natural immunity may not be sufficient. Your emphasis on a healthy diet and lifestyle, including Vitamin D intake, is well-placed. A strong immune system is indeed fortified by proper nutrition, and Vitamin D has been shown to have various health benefits. However, it is worth noting that while a healthy lifestyle can help prevent a myriad of diseases, it's not a guaranteed safeguard against highly contagious viruses like SARS-CoV-2. My aim is to provide a comprehensive view based on current scientific evidence. I value the dialogue and differing perspectives like yours as they contribute to a richer discussion. Thank you once again for your comments.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my video. I understand that the topic of COVID-19 vaccines can be divisive, and I appreciate your engagement in this discussion. Contrary to the assertion that there was "zero rigorous testing," the vaccines currently authorized for emergency use or approved have undergone rigorous clinical trials involving tens of thousands of participants. These trials are designed to evaluate safety and efficacy and are subject to review by multiple regulatory agencies, such as the FDA in the United States, EMA in Europe, and ANVISA in Brazil. The clinical trials followed established scientific protocols, including randomization and peer review, to ensure that the data collected is as robust as possible. Furthermore, post-marketing surveillance continues to monitor the vaccines for any rare adverse events. It is essential to rely on credible sources and peer-reviewed scientific data when discussing topics as critical as public health. I appreciate your concern and am open to constructive dialogue. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you for your comment and for highlighting the pronunciation of "vasovagal syncope." Pronunciation can indeed vary, and I appreciate your input on this matter. The term "syncope" is often pronounced as "sin-ko-pee" in medical settings, but regional accents and variations can influence how it's articulated. Your point serves as a good reminder that medical terminology can be subject to different pronunciations, and it's crucial for healthcare professionals to be clear in their communication. I value your engagement and thank you for bringing this to my attention.

@theheartrhythmcenter 10 месяцев назад

I have Incomplete Right bundle Branch Block can you tell what is it mean 🤔
@theheartrhythmcenter
@theheartrhythmcenter 11 месяцев назад
Hey @warriorgaming5251! Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience. Incomplete Right Bundle Branch Block (RBBB) is a condition that can be detected on an electrocardiogram (ECG). It occurs when there is a delay or interruption in the electrical conduction through the right bundle branch of the heart. Basically, the electrical signals that control the heartbeat are slightly delayed as they pass through the right side of the heart. In most cases, incomplete RBBB is considered a benign finding and doesn't cause any significant health issues on its own. However, it's always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider or a cardiologist for a more detailed evaluation and to discuss your specific case. They will be able to provide you with personalized advice and guidance based on your medical history and symptoms, if any. Remember, I'm not a medical professional, so it's important to seek professional medical advice for an accurate diagnosis and any concerns you may have. Take care and stay healthy!
