What purpose would sending a scout to another team serve and for what reason. Im like this thats defamation worthy if it wasn't true Id have to settle that one in court. Why would Poole do that maybe over a starting position? And how did Mulkey find out did the other coach tell her then ahain why would another team Trust Kateri after she pulled something like that? Sounds like some fabrication to me. Plus was that the cause of the locker room blow up between Reese, Poole and FlauJae causing Reese to leave the team for a while. Seems like it was more to the story.
Good Lord. If people couldn't see what a weak coach Spoon was then maybe soccer is your sport. The team was undisciplined as in willful behaving in a way that is not properly controlled like a coach is supposed to do. Spoon was a friend, not a coach or leader. Players missing pressers, not showing for practice, spending time on social media bashing and so many technical fouls. I expect immaturity from Reese, she is 22. But Spoon knew better and the WNBA is fed up with all the drama the players bring. It's a business who still gets alimony checks from the NBA, and that is about to end.

And yes, coaches get fire all the time for not making the playoffs or as you word it, "for almost making the playoffs" and also for not making a deep run in the playoffs.

She missed games and team didn’t make the playoffs, so it comes off as if her stats didn’t impact winning so I don’t think Carter should have got it sorry. I feel if the sky made the playoffs yes she should have got it.
I like Anessa Morrow, Olivia Miles, or Dominique Malonga at pick 3 or 4. At pick 9 I like Saniya Rivers a 6'1" Gaurd, that the best perimeter defender in the Draft. I like Te hina Poa Poa , I just think a 3 and D WING/ Gaurd who can Gaurd multiple positions is a better value. I hope Brynna Maxwell ( a 3 point shooter) comes back to us, she was our 2nd round pick last year, but got injured in training camp and was cut.
