I have something similar on my wagon, I actually just vinyl wrapped 3m gloss black over them. Wasnt super hard but was pretty tedious as when I did it i wasnt super experienced with wrap, i know im late but i hope i helped answer your question.
@@everetstewart2518 yea man this was a long time ago but now i have cold air intake and 5 percent tint with black window trim and block gloss painted rims it looks clean but am planning on tuning it soon

@@dawsonvandecar1612 Hey man, it's been two years since your comment but I have the Malone Stage 2 tune on the 6MT TDI, as well as the Rawtek ECO DPF delete kit. Did all the installs myself so far, and the exhaust was a pain in the ass, but doable in my own garage with jack stands. The thing drives beautifully and gets great fuel economy. I also have an Injen cold air intake which gets me some great induction noise. If you're curious about the exhaust, it keeps the stock muffler, so it doesn't change the sound much, however I can hear the turbo spool a lot more which is awesome. My particular build includes the high flow catalytic converter (didn't feel like being super mean to the environment) and the resonator. Even with the high flow cat the exhaust does have a pretty diesel-y smell, but it's only noticeable when reversing with the windows down, or if there's a wind carrying it into the cabin (also windows down). I'm pretty much used to the occasional smelly wiffs after two weeks. Had an exhaust leak the other day because I didn't tighten down the downpipe to midpipe flange properly, which I've since fixed, but I can tell you, for the couple minutes I ran it with the leak this thing will sound great straight piped. Also the cat is doing its job because when I had the leak HOLY SHIT IT SMELLED WAAAYYYYY stronger. I want to get bags at some point, as well as the Golf R bumper conversion, perhaps a widebody kit and even a valved muffler (so I can actually have a loud exhaust when I want). Absolutely love this vehicle.
