Ubuntu comes gnome desktop environment preinstalled, and depending upon weather u r using wayland or xorg. Because wayfire is wayland so u can find documentation on its official girhub repo.
I saw that you said you left ricing a while ago, that's a shame - I'm looking to start in a few months, as I'll finally have time to learn ricing and would love to get some pointers ahead of time.
@@LinuxGuyNepal And sorry if my earlier comment came off as rude. For context, I already know a lot about administration & troubleshooting. I already manage a home server where I run a nextcloud instance, I am CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+, CySA+, Linux+, and most recently Pentest+ certified. I'm wanting to learn fun stuff too, not just constant practice of the practical stuff. Don't get me wrong - I love everything I've learned, but while sometimes you gotta make a functional grocery-getter car, sometimes you just want a mutilated monster to drive in. Likewise, I just want to pipe my system through lolcat & set it on fire.
Its okey , you got a good experience ☺️ i am also an enterprise guy - system enginner - working for redhat . I also own some professional certifications from redhat . I just left those ricing cause i feel harder to maintain and i feel like its burden . If u have heared about unixporn then you might see some of my posts there also . Its been a long time ago i left ricing . Feel free ask for ricing stuffs . May be we can connect on LinkedIn also . Kindly drop your LinkedIn profile link .
@@LinuxGuyNepal I don't like handing out my personal social media accounts on my public social media accounts, otherwise would take you up on that offer! I would like to ask for some pointers, such as tools to use?
Please check if sudo is installed or not , if u r using root account u dont need sudo . If using normal account please go through sudo installation. And configuring sudo with right privilege
I may have missed it, but can the source be set to a microphone? I can't tell if its reacting to the playback from your recording or your microphone input.
It was on another language , i am making video on english language these days so i just deleted it permanently. U can connect with me personally so i can assist u on that .
@@LinuxGuyNepal Oh yes. But you see, Even if I cannot understand your language I can setup my ncmpcpp & mpd very well cause you explain it very clear....I Thank you for that. So how can I connect with you ?
After doing this, qsreplace is working but all the commands stopped working. Error-: /home/kali/.zshrc:export:264: not valid in this context: /usr/local/bin
Ubuntu comes with gnome by default which has desktop overview feature by default . For window transparency on gnome i havenot tried yet but transparency are controlled using compositors search for related keyword you will get your result m
Why do you need to learn `sudo` when you have `doas`, which is lighter, simpler and takes only one line to configure? ``` $ su # pkg remove sudo && pkg install opendoas # echo "permit persist wheel as root" >> /etc/doas.conf # exit ``` It's that simple.
Sad to say , these days i am not into making dots , as i am also not maintaining dots , bcoz i am just busy with my works on office . May be u should try it once .
Hii. I got one error Virtualbox cannot start the virtual device (Virtualisation technology (VT-X,SVM,AMD-V) may be unavailable or disabled please verify BIOS/UEFI settings If it is available and enabled please verify that no other hypervisor [QEMU] is currently in use
U need to enable virtualization from BIOS /UEFI menu simple , go on to the BIOS menu and search for virtualization related setting u will get there . And if issue still exists please let me know what can i do for you .
Too many Slackware Install Guides focus on the easy install but not the complicated process of creating a bootable usb for a metal install, a VM install, a Proxmox Install or the boot option process because Slackware by default uses LILO not Grub and for UEFI the boot media must be prepared for, and the LILO and new ELILO or Grub Boot up are not explained clearly enough for those that don't understand the Boot Up System can understand. The right options & steps for installing Lilo, Elilo or Grub is what makes installing Slackware difficult.
