I currently ride a 2022 Indian Challenger and 2018 Springfield and Barbara rides a 2019 Indian Scout Bobber and a Sea-to-Sky edition CanAM RT.
Well done video pointing out the difficulties that can be encountered. The small turn signals are stylish but most don’t show up very well during day time operation. Being seen is an important part of safe riding. Roll on and have fun.
Brian, your content is loved and we derive great pleasure from what you produce. The videos and voice overs are easy to watch and listen to (they entertain) and give each of us a sense of the satisfaction you derive from riding. And yes, getting back out there breeds enthusiasm to do it more and more -- I have missed your regular uploads and hopefully this is something you'll want to continue to do. I certainly want to continue to see what you produce. As an aside, once you can get over the embarrassment of dumping a bike, hopefully the entire experience comes back into perspective -- things can be fixed and a slight mar here or there are merely battle scars leftover from a well-enjoyed adventure.
Thanks! Still using an older GP Hero 9 and the Jawz clamp for anything on the bike. I also use a Sony Zv-1 and the video of the BMW stunt bike was shot with a Sony a7Rv
Ive got a stock 111, swapped bikes with a buddy who had a stage 3. Problem is my other bike is a FJR 1300 and I want more from my chief darkhorse.. love the bike but hard to justify the cash outlay for something that is so much faster. Your video has me convinced though….
@@TwoIndians RU-vid Analytics kinda ruins the ride. Lots of overthink. Some will like and stick around while others won’t. * here’s my unsolicited advice: You make good stuff. A little or a lot, most enjoy coming along on your travels, see updates. It’s suppose to be fun. If it stops being fun, take a break! Don’t look too much at analytics. You’re talking to like people and to people who like you.
@@AnywhereRider Great advice. Yeah I 100% ignore analytics. I havent even looked at ways to show people more of what they want. I make videos for my own creative outlet and love storytelling.
It doesn't dawn on him that electric fuel pumps in the tank need fuel to cool. That's why the light comes on when it does. They want enough fuel left in the tank to avoid damage to the pump from overheating. Not respecting the low fuel light could end up being very costly. But hey they think they are cool and it's all a laugh.😂
I have been struggling with ear plugs and helmet headsets for a long time now. I found it annoying that the headset/comm unit made it seem like all you had to do was put the speakers in the helmet and turn the system on. I couldn’t hear much that way over the wind noise, and my bikes have windshields and stock pipes on them. If I turned the speakers up, I was just doing more damage. Earplugs didn’t help because they killed everything. I finally tried in ear monitors with a Cardo unit because I could plug the “ear bud” into the unit. That has worked well for me. The “ear bud” blocks quite a bit of sound. I married a woman last year who was not a motorcycle rider and thought “ear buds” would be easy to fit. I don’t think the “ear buds” fit in her ears and I have difficulty getting her to try different size ear tips. I am considering using speakers in her helmet with Earpeace or Eargasm plugs. I tried them myself, but was concerned that too much sound was getting past them. My current set up does a great job of keeping the noise out. I have no idea how they will fit her ears just as I have no idea how noisy it is on the back of my Honda ST1300 or Victory Vision. I have never ridden back there.
It’s def a struggle to find the right combo. I alternate between EarPeace and Eargasm now. I found the in helmet speakers great at first but then I realized that the speakers or helmet material touching my ears was actually transferring vibrations from the bike directly into my ear canal making the hearing loss greater. I can’t even wear a FF now because of it. Half helmet and ear plugs are the best combination for me.
All I can say is " Life goes On!". Love keeping up with you and we understand completely. Tricia and I stay plenty busy with our 18 month old grandson Harrison. Hope to one day to meet up with you and Barb again. Take care of yourselves!
Hey Brian, in my neighborhood. I live 20 min from the Jack Daniels Distillery. Welcome to Tn. Wish had known you were around would have been nice to say hello.
Well, it is not a bike. It is a trike. Bike =2 wheels. Trike =3 wheels. All the additional things you have mentioned would equal extra cost. Can Am Spyders are made well into northeast Canada, and they don't need air conditioned seats. Otherwise, a nice review. I have a 2021 S2S BTW. I really like it.
I have a scout and would have loved to have seen the actual install but I suppose it's similar to other bike installs with the exception of the control panel. Great lights! Considering this set up for mine.
If you slow the video down to a half speed and pay close attention you can see everything better. The reality is I filmed the whole install and accidentally formatted the drive and lost all the video. I wanted to die LOL
My kids think the first gen iPhone is old school so I think everything is relative. If you’ve been riding a 72 pan head then a 2018 Springfield is not old school. But some people the 72 panny isn’t old skool either. That’s like a 45 flathead. I mean take your pick.
@@TwoIndians like I said “old stool” is overused. I do not use the phrase my self. It is a youth term and all they know is what they can see through a 3x5 screen.
Like has been stated many times in the comments, Pipes will really open it up. You made it so it breathes in easier but it isn't exhaling properly. Beautiful bike by the way.
