Is it possible to mount the invert 60 ball head to any other type of tripod, say a lighter hunting tripod? Am intrigued by the head but the Fat Boy tripods are incredibly big, and would be difficult to backpack in somewhere with.
Hello dude... what is your real expirience? Are you satisfacted with that LR device? I saw, and i planing to buy one for my 308win for night hog hunting in crop fields... Distance at night is very big problem... Is this good solution for that? What is longest and precised distance of ypur measuring? Thank you. Great regards!
How does this compare to the SCO alpha? I picked one up but haven’t used it and found out about the alpha. Curious if I would notice a difference for 200+ less. I appreciate any info you can give me.
You will notice a difference in things like leg diameter, size of the looking knob, a guarantee lock on the arca mount with no fears of the rifle slipping out, only having two leg sections vs. 3, overall rigidity, life time warranty, and how quickly the knob can be locked and unlocked with ease. Those are some of the things I've noticed that set the two apart. Both will do the job one is more expensive but does offer upgrades for the price difference.
I dont have a direct answer. But I would suggest looking for an alternate way to adjust th e laser. Ie, by an adjustable attachment. It will probably look retarded. But it will get your stupid laser straight.
Got one yesterday with my g48 leaving the lease after filling a couple feeders for an upcoming hog hunt. 20-25yrds away and stood still a secong to long😂
@caseytownsend7067 depending I guess what pulsar you are comparing it to would be a topic for discussion. That being said base magnification and image quality is why I've chosen to run iray over pulsar.
Question about the clip on, I have a device that holds my iPhone on the back of day optics and I use it to take small youth hunter’s in deer season so we both know there on target before they shoot, also record there first hunt too, it’s pretty cool, any way you think we could see some video like that, so we could see exactly what your seeing through your day optic, picture clarity, magnification, etc. Thanks buddy, love your videos
That is a great question, I have uploaded on face book recently what I'm seeing just by taking pictures of my phone. Unfortunately I don't have a way of recording through the day optic. I will say the day optic give you a way way way better reticle to use vs the digital that comes in the thermal. Go join Cornfield Killers on Facebook
That will be personal preference, definitely will Need to be running a scanner in a tight area it will be very tight at 4x. But long shots will be a little easier.
hey thanks for sharin. I've been using the RH50 and an looking at another but not really sure if the rh50 pro or the bolt or that one you reviewed will be much better in image quality. I do know the sound on the RH 50 sucks bad...
This optic gives you the most options to fine tune the image of how your eyes want it. The rh50 and the bolt are good choices, but do not offer nearly as many settings as this Hybrid. Also can be used as a clip on in which I am currently testing.
@cornfieldkiller is the hybrid better image quality? Is the th50 better image than the rh50? The mk is lower on the bolt than the rico.. i think a 20 inch rail would be needed for the clipon.. so it would be used as a dedicated only
@WolfzVideo The Hybrid has the best image of any optic I've used yet. Currently the only scope iRay offers that is above the hybrid is the 75mm 1280 that's 15-18k depending where you buy. For clip on yes I would recommend a full rail so you have plenty of room to adjust how it fits you best. I've mainly only ran the optic in stand alone mode for the most part and was overly impressed with the amount of options for setting up the image exactly how I want it. Image sharpness brightness and contrast all have a very wide field of adjustment. I'll probably continue to keep it in clip on mode for a while so I can say I gave it an honest try. Another thing to consider is the performance in unfavorable weather like dew point and humidity it plows through it. When the weather is nice the image if very very satisfying to say the least.
Wow, that’s amazing. 2 weeks ago I called in my first quad and unfortunately I pulled the first shot and didn’t get any, nerves and excitement I guess. I’m in Black Hawk county, Iowa. Still getting used to the thermal hunting, judging distance at night is what gets me I think.
Great content! I just pulled the trigger on one with LRF and moving my Halo. Couple questions. What is the magnification in the PIP when on 8x? I know on the TH50 it was 2x that of the main screen. Is the ballistic calc feature working yet?
That 4th one was a super lucky coyote 🍀 I thought he was a dead yote standing and then I thought some of those running shots looked good to. What an awesome stand to get all on film!
