A channel were I focus on finding, buying, restoring, and driving high mileages cars in an effort to disprove the popular notion that a car with 'high miles' is not a car worth buying.
So what I've come to find out 8.25 out of the 96 are weak an if you have abs you have a dana 35 in the rear which is junk what you want it the 8.25 out of the 97 or 98 an up models
Hello there. Looking for a 2007-2008 HONDA ELEMENT SC FRONT RIGHT HEADLIGHT any idea, where can i find new or used one in a good condition. any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
A year ago, bought my white 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.2l 8ft bed, std cab, 2wd, 60k miles. I've put 20k on it and replaced most of the sensors, and most of the moving parts around the engine and the front-end. The coolest feature is it can run on propane or gasoline. Great video.
I hate it when someone looks up info on these dodge 1500s, and most of the time, the 2500s and 3500s pop up. That makes me mad as hell, lol But I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500, and this video was very helpful. I actually got some important info, unlike the other one I watched Thanks you!!!
All information said in the video is true but some minor corrections: the 3.2 liter is an inline 6 and the XC90 came with a 2.9 liter inline 6 turbo mated to a garbage GM 4t65 Trashmission.
The best advice for Element buyers: Don't. It's the second most hideous car ever designed and you are all hurting our eyeballs with these abominations.
The honda element was a quirky car back then but definitely had alot of leg and head room. Too bad they didn't made white color cuz I'd drive it to the ground. Not to mention it was great for going to the beach, hiking, and camping. Love to find a onmi blue pearl element one day
just bought one with 270k miles from a us veteran here in germany, so many questions were answered by this video, e.x the leaking sunroof thing, i never wouldve guessed its just a little thing to fix that, thank you for the video and great channel !
The best, most versatile car I have ever owned. Mine was the exact model year and color in this video. I traded mine in at 235k miles on a Subaru. The Subi is ok, but it ain’t the Element, for sure!
Some inaccuracies here. I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee SSP that came from Richmond VA Police its got cloth seats cloth carpet the full skid plate package a LSD Dana 35 rear axle with ABS and has door moldings. (I'm its second owner) (all ABS model XJs are Dana 35 equiped)
Just found an 06 with 155k miles in no rust condition in Delaware and funny thing is, is that it was used as a cable company car from red bank n.j. and it had similar lettering on it. Other than the 1st n 2nd gear solinoid needing replacing, because of a little jerking motion as you came to a stop, which my brother found in a cali. Junk yard for$30 it runs like a dream machine.Ya gotta love all the quirkiness...It's Elementary baby! Ramble on....
Who ever sold you this truck for 2700 with all those features & the rear axle l locker was DUMB We recently purchased this model same 00 4runner limited 4wd with e locker for $5k with 233k miles and my dad and i thought it was a steal considering the specs and condition now for $2700 they just have it away to you lol
Volvo never offered a v6 and all engines except the yamaha made v8 have timing belts. the weak transmission of the 3 liter (wich is actually a 2.9 liter engine) youre reffering to isnt event that bad, the GM4t65e is a fairly reliable transmission, it just has a problem with the epc valve for the servo pin causing the forward brake band to snap. Only the early 05 v8 have a problem with the counter balance shaft, after that drilled a hole in the cover so fluids can drain. So you should be fine if you buy a 06+ or just dont let water get to your engine. Also a common failure ´point on the xc 90 is the CEM especially on the models after 05 when they got the newer type of CEM, essentialy water runs under the cowl and if the seal for the fusebox fails it drips onto the CEM.
