EV's can't tow for shit. NONE of them. The Cybertruck only got 85 miles when towing a RV trailer. That's ridiculous. It's going to be a while until EV's are capable of replacing ICE.
so nothing depreciates faster than a maserati and ev's fall like a rock ie porsche tycan as an example and now they want to combine the depreciation of a maserati and an EV. Ill wait 6 months when they loose 50%
I already knew what happened to it 2 years ago 😂 and no it wasn’t crushed it was owned by someone and borrowed like rented type and there was like 5 of them and the one used in the film still had red under the floor covers lmao
One minute and thirty eight seconds before you begin to talk about what the videos about. Credit where credits due, thats some impressive fluff time. But yeah. Please stop wasting our lives.
HMMM... they want to patent a hybrid?? think this has been done before. Upside down engine was done in WW2. Hydrogen engine? been done, regenerative braking? done and done for YEARS. NOTHING NEW HERE
I feel bad for the Liberman guy. I’ve never seen anyone milk their fifteen minutes of fame like him. OJ’s buddy Kato wasn’t even this bad. Hopefully there are enough fifty year old fans of FandF to give a crap, so Mr Liberman can be “heard”
It's a firebomb on wheels... totally safe. Also a gas vehicle fire can be put out with about 300 gallons of water. An EV fire takes up to 28,000 gallons
Seriously ? 😂 it's so brilliant that people drove around sitting on a highly flammable/explosive gas tank for almost 100 years (with 20-30% efficiency and 70-80% was just wasted heat and not used for driving...) but you're concerned about a battery catching fire ? The rate of burning gas powered cars compared to ev's should tell you everything you need to know... It's almost 1000:1 (meaning 1 slow burning ev on every 1000 burning dino fart combustion engine - another hint - powered car, so don't do ridiculous click bait vid's
The ignorance in this video is staggering, this isn't just some quick facts video, most of these are blatant lies and plain anti ev propaganda. It's funny how the focus when it comes to fire and safety is purely on ev's especially when *combustion* engines make up the majority of fires and deadly accidents. Atleast admit they are safer overall like the actual Statistik says. Safe thing goes for the environment, also China isn't the world ev leader yet the U.S is so idk why you make it about china. Also as for charging accidents Tesla has a 99% upkeep on super chargers with no single deadly charging accident, the same can't be said for gas stations. Also as for weather you might wanna look to Norway and Sweden one of the coldest countries in the world, it's all ev's since newsflash electricity is more efficient per mile than any ice regardless of weather. People act like cold weather doesn't effect an ice engine but fuel consumption is abismal and provision cost is even worse. Fact is this video represents the dishonesty with content creators and is the reason why people won't buy ice cars.
I thought the other comments were just boomers being boomers but then I looked at the channel. All anti-EV clickbait lol. Not even original or up-to-date facts.
I mean more or less everything hr said is true, maybe he was a bit over exaggerating but he is right. There are a lot of dangers happening with EVs like they are heavier cars tjat dont have an engine block to stop head on collisions they have to relly on sturdier pillars Lithium batteries are prone to igniting remember the samsung exploding phones incident? Not to mention that the batteries are 100times bigger than phones battery it is really hard to extuingish them.. and it is good to hear some opposition to EVs cuz they are not gonna solve any enviromental problems
@@SloGamer750 Dude... you repeat oil propaganda from 10 years ago when they tried to scare people away from ev's by telling them they can explode like the samsungs (although no ev ever exploded...) But somehow nobody was worried for 100 years to to literally sit on an explosive gas tank... The samsungs exploded due to electronic management fails... not because lit-ion batteries love to explode like gasoline... And you say EVs are not gonna solve any environment problem; so is it better to still follow the oil lobby and be happy with gas ovens driving around that only use 20-30% to drive but the rest is wasted heat ? Not even starting on oil catastrophes, dictatorships, wars over oil, oligarchs money shaping politics etc. etc. - EVs might not be the final solution, but anything is better that uses 90% of the energy to actually drive and steers the energy monopole away from oil.. And nope; hydrogen powered cars are no answer... you still use oil to get the actual hydrogen, then you still need (like gasoline) almost 2KWH of power to make 1 L of hydrogen and have to get it in a high pressured tank to a gas station where you pump it into another tank under high pressure before getting it into the vehicles tank under pressure to then burn it in a fuel cell to generate electricity that is stored in a battery that powers an electric motor... that's simply the dumbest invention ever. The future will be other forms of storing energy or creating energy in a totally different way (fusion etc.) locally where storage/batteries get obsolete.. But the worst argument today is: EVs don't change anything, so let's drive around in dino fart machines that didn't evolve in the basic technology for 100 years..
@@SloGamer750 thats exactly what social media does, it brainwashes people like you, Teslas for example are the safest cars in the world and quality EV fires happen way, way, way less than ICE cars.
But in most cases, the fire can be managed by firefighters. It's another story with Lithium-ion batteries. They take a lot of resources to extinguish, and as was pointed out in this video, they can reignite weeks later.
@@Boxing4K Nope, the kind oil lobby loves the narrative and makes sure these falsehoods won't go away... First of all; in the very unlikely case of a fire with a lithium-ion battery, it fizzles like fireworks and takes a long time to fully emerge into a big fire. A gas tank is an entirely different case and can blow up. And if you ask (in 2024) any firefighters that are now trained on battery fire; it's an old hoax that dies hard... And i Love the fact that people sat on highly explosive gas tanks for a century and now suddenly they are worried about a battery burning although it hardly ever does ? Of course every burning Tesla made it to the front page, mostly a couple of years ago when the automobile/oil lobby tried to push this narrative but a) never mentioned that even a safe car like BMW alone had more than 800x more burning cars than Tesla. And all EV's are safer today than Tesla was 10 years ago... Silly argument.
@@moritzschneider7081 There have been cases all over the world of those batteries going into thermal runaway. EV's are not the problem. Lithium Ion batteries are the problem. And they do not fizzle. You're kidding yourself. I have seen stories recently of electric scooters or bikes, golf buggies, and EV's catching fire. It only takes one dodgy battery cell, among the 1000's in an EV, to have an issue and they can catch fire. And how does a technician identify if a car has a bad cell? They can't. How do you know the batteries in your car were manufactured correctly? You don't. I'm in Melbourne and we had the clubrooms at a golf club burn down here recently. The cost 140,000,000. The culprit, an electric golf buggy.
I don’t get this emphasis on EV’s governments are forcing us to take them & most people don’t want or can’t afford to switch over their business to them!
I wish they would wait for "clean" energy to be the standard before they switch to EVs since until then, they won't be any better for the environment than gas cars
Did I not see a video where they claim to be SWITCHING to a technology company NOT AUTOMOTIVE and that OVER 90% Of there white collar workers in auburn hills have been lauded OFF 🤔 2 Dodge vehicles one of which I’m not selling enough to be considered a success by ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION and ONE Chrysler vehicle how does a company survive having NO VEHICLES that NEW DRIVERS can afford let alone RAISING PRICES TO WHAT IS CONSIDERED LUXURY TERRITORY that most people can’t afford
All beside the point. Stellantis decided to go upscale by pricing it's family car product line, (formerly Chrysler-Jeep), same as BMW or Audi. Unsurprisingly, they don't sell. Stellantis jumped into the E V fad whole hog, instead of a limited production fly or flop test. Two reasons for the big price hikes, cover the E V disaster and plain old greed. Auto workers always get blamed for management follies.
