I have to make this drive next week in my 76 carburetor coachman leprechaun class C. I’m super nervous. Any thoughts? Please be kind. This seems to be only way out of the area I’m in and I’m trying to do it as safely as possible

Great video......best for overall information. Wondering if you ever used 4 low and is it correct that most traffic runs the loop clockwise? We are planning to go there in a couple of weeks. Thanks.

Hey there. I am debating on adding the lap book & can't make a decision. While adding it to my lesson plans, I notice it says that some of the activities for the lap book say it can take ~40 minutes here, ~60 minutes there, etc. Is that for the entirety of that activity spread throughout the week? Or is that ~30/40/60 minutes per day? I hope my question made sense. I just don't want to add in an hours worth of extra work EACH day. The lap book does look like a lot of fun, though!
@RVHomeschool
@RVHomeschool 19 дней назад
So there’s usually only one activity per week (or even less) so you are spreading it throughout the days. I find my kids are good for about 10-15 minutes and then we finish the project in the next days.

Cool video. FYI, the edge of those trails/cliffs is often wet just beneath. They call it the famous Moab Red Mud. Best to never drive up within ~5+ feet of the edge. 10 to be safer. You can hit the brakes and truck keep sliding. Locals know this.

I just wanted to say, I REALLY enjoyed this video. I like that you took the time to explain along the way and show what everything looks like. I was there 3 yrs ago but not sure how to get on that road and wasn't prepared. I learned a lot from the vid and want to go back now and do the road. I remember looking down from dead horse point and watching the jeeps go along the road,.

This area is now Utahraptor State Park so there will be an entrance fee. Camping is now only in developed campsites while in the state park area. In 2018 I was able to drive from Salt Valley Road to Tower Arch then out to Balanced Rock in a stock 2011 Nissan Xterra. I did not need lockers, just carefully picked my lines.

Curious - I am adding 2 mmpt controllers for solar. I was going to wire all directly to the batteries. I am thinking rather then having all those connections adding a separate + bus bar just for connecting the mppts to the battery so I would only need to have one cable from bus bar on each pos and neg instead - is that ok?
@angelamarie88

I came here to learn how to connect batteries to bus bars but instead you taught us how to shrink wrap welding cables.

Exactly , that’s what I thought , plus I may be wrong but her surface doesn’t seem completely flat from table to machine I’d put a piece of cardboard to adjust size if that happens unless am a bit ocd when I see that. Otherwise it’s great table and nicely explained. I jumped from an industrial machine to a normal singer 4432 and realised I need a table 😂

Potash Road and Shafer Trail, in Canyonlands NP, are covered by your NP pass. I suspect that you only need to display your hangtag if coming from Moab on Potash, but you might want to call the park to make sure of the procedure.

Shout-out to the people who film vertically when making RU-vid content. Looks so great compared to the majority of your footage which is shot landscape. Ugh.

Hi, would love to hear what your feelings were by end of year. We just can’t seem to get bookshark to fully understand and answer things for us, we have a very different child. He is 5, 6 next month. He started school last year into K, came out in 3rd grade. So the age or grades are throw aways for us,it does not help at all. And to make it worse, he is all over the place, 7th grade math, 3rd grade reading. Probably 1st grade writing, since he still write letters backwards at time, and he still writes big letters not tiny. So we are thinking level C and maybe do it in depth. Would you suggest this. He reads okay, he can read Magic Tree House, but still likes us to read with us, he reads a page we read a page, so we are thinking level C, it looks more like chapter books, do you agree. On math we are very all over the place, we thought Saxon at first but now thinking beast academy. Anyway, anything you can help or suggest would be great. We never thought of homeschooling, but we don’t want a 6 year old in middle school so we need to do this. Also we are Florida, and he did get PEP, which means he has a scholarship thru the state to homeschool, $8169 I think, so we are good paying for anything if there is anything you suggest that would be better.

Very informative. Mice have chewed through all of our plastic vents. We went to louvered metal vent covers with wire mesh. Now we spray Mouse Free and wait. We already sprayed mint oil everywhere.

"It's not a race." "I'm sitting here at a comfortable 45." I'm chuckling because there used to be road raging commuters. That would be pulling their hair out at these epiphanies. hee hee hee. But not any more. They're nearly all gone. And no, it's not due to the work-from-home trend. There's just no jobs.
