I really would have liked to have been there, but at the time I was still waiting for my membership card and fell for an impostor. Mr Andrea should urgently stop this.
@@bigunc162 Hi there, sorry I missed your message, we love Santa Maria al Bagno, it's our closest and local beach from our property. Davide and the team are great, you will love it ❤

Thank you so much for posting this video! In April our entire family went to Italy, about 28 of us! We saw the theater. But of course was empty. I was trying to imagine what it’s like for this concert. Your video brought that to life for me!!! Side story…our tour guide was stopped on the street as we were walking thru Lajatico and was told that rumor had it Andrea was coming down the hill on his horse. Of course we waited a little but had ti get going. Never saw him! But was fun thinking “what if Andrea just stopped by us to say hello”? Such a beautiful village he lives in there! Can’t wait to be back there again! Cheers!
I just saw your comment, so very sorry for not replying 5 months ago, not sure how we missed it. It certainly was an amazing experience and to finish the night with Andre riding past on his horse was truly special

Hi there, I have recently bought tickets to go see Bocelli in Lajatico, and I was wondering what the visibility is like? We are sitting towards the middle of the theatre.
We were in the middle but a little further back than halfway, no problem seeing the stage of course if you have a large tall person in front of you it's not good, obviously you cannot really see the people on the stage clearly, there are large screens everywhere which was great, like any concert really, the closer the better enjoy the night, you will love it no matter what.
@@travelwithmrmrsc549 Your video inspired me to publish this video from the concert. I've only ever published one other video on RU-vid. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ngWY3DSfGdw.html
Any relation to Carmine Galante by chance? Parents came from Castellammare del Golfo like your grandfather did. Or maybe Galante is a fairly common regional/Sicilian surname?
@@tonyducks1121 I do believe it is a popular name over there but I was told that he was a distant cousin on my farther’s side , 3rd or 4th something like that. I believe my dad knew some people but thankfully didn’t get involved in that life.
@@Phil-G1075 Oh wow, small world. You ain't kidding about avoiding that life, just ask Carmine Galante. Should have been a fisherman like your Grandpa. Much healthier lifestyle.
Ciao ragazzi! I randomly came across your video today, which I really enjoyed, because I am researching a lot of areas in Sicily. My name is Paul and I'm an American, 54, who now lives in Florence, Italy. In the spring I am looking to relocate to Sicily. One of the towns I'm considering is Castellamare del Golfo. The main thing I am looking for is an apartment that is right along the sea and has seaviews. What are your opinions of the best seaside towns to live in Sicily long term? Any thoughts, opinions, or recommendations would be sincerely appreciated. Grazie mille, Paul in Firenze
Thank you for your message Paul. Personally there are so many beautiful seaside towns I can recommend. It really depends on whether you like tourist places or quiet places. Sicily becomes very busy in the Summer as not only foreigners visit but the Italians from the north. We love the summer buzz and vibe in these small towns so for us it would be Cefalu, Castelmare del Golfo and Ortigia. They have a community feel they are small enough and yet big enough for the quite off peak season. They have markets, banks, shops and village feel which is what we are attracted to. And of the course the food. Also the location of these towns have so much to offer nearby so you won't be bored. Cefalu & Castelmare del Golfo is near airport and Palermo and stunning beaches like San Vito. Ortigia's nearest airport and major city is Catania and also has beautiful towns and beaches nearby.
@@travelwithmrmrsc549 Thank you very much for your thoughts. I have been looking into Origia and Castellamare del Golfo. From what I have been researching on apartments, it looks like Cefalu may be too expensive, but of course it is beautiful there. There are many differences between the West and East coasts of Sicily, but both are amazing I'm sure. Thank you again for your reply. Paul
Your lunch at Villa Maria looked lovely, but I’m reading some less than stellar reviews and complaints about high prices on TripAdvisor. How was your experience and value?
Yes it's pricey but we had a lovely meal, wife had one of the best pastas of the whole trip there, if you are money conscious don't go but if not worried then it was great
Hello, we've enjoyed watching your videos so much, wish we were there! We wanted to ask what made y'all choose Puglia when you decided to buy. It is such a hard decision because all of Italy is so beautiful. We are looking also and planning to be in Lecce next month, our first time to the region. We are just wondering what was the deciding factor(s)? Thanks in advance for your opinions. Safe, fun travels! Kelly
The landscape is fairly flat, good for walking, the people are very friendly down South, it's a stunning area close to beaches, cheaper than the North as and the food is wonderful. Thanks for watching. Lecce is stunning.
I just subscribed to your channel 🎉can’t wait to see your adventures 🎉we will travel your way next March from the USA 🇺🇸 I’ll follow some of your recommendations
