confused why curved line divided point not linear with straights line. when i check, the first step on 01:00 are different (list item) with in this video, i don't know why
HOW DO I OFFSET MY CURVE IF MY CURVE IS NOT PLANAR AND IT IS CURVED . IT GIVES ME THIS ERROR 1. Offset plane must be provided if the curve is not planar itself... PLEASE HELP
the value 2 @7:39 is for defining the length , in this case radius of the ellipse. so for 215mm length of brick, an ellipse of radius 107.5mm has to be done. Secondly, 1@9:15 is defining that less the distance between the curve and grid points, more the rotation shall be. Attach a panel to see the values. Thirdly 5@9:40 is just a multiplication for the angle in radians as the rotation angle is very small. Its just a factor to scale up the radian angle, u can increase it rotate the bricks more drastically.
Hi! at minute 4:30, when you set the equality parameter an error pops up stating that "Imput parameter B failed to collect data" do you know why this error pops up? Great video!
Great Video! Just one thing, if an extension is being used within the video. I think it would be better to show this information on the title or description. Very useful video none the less.
Thanks for the sharing your work. I also try to make this building. The difficult part was making model for the outside wooden seating and wall. Is there any chance that you can try to present that part with GH?
Thank you so much for all the efforts you make, I have learned so much from your videos ♥ I have a small suggestion if you don't mind, if you can make us a complete tuttorial by doing the "Klimatorium Climate Center / 3XN Architects" and thank you very much again ♥
Nice tutorial, love it. I learned few commands. I have a small doubt, how are you aligning the object to other while extruding them without typing the distance. like at 12:20 time stamp of the video.
Being a beginner in Rhino+Grasshopper, I love your tutorials, but since I am totally a self learner with just free youtube tutorials as learning materials, what I feel is the videos could be more informative if you could add a bg audio with a brief explanation of what each of the components does. For example : I couldn't establish what happened in the whole "Series > Remap nos. > Graph mapper > Remap nos.> unit vector z" part and how it turned out to be.
Thank you for watching! To achieve a parametric design, series, remap, and vector are essential components. Fortunately, there is plenty of learning material on the internet explaining them. I will try to add more text with a diagram to present the idea for upcoming tutorials. Maybe I will add an audio explanation in the future once there are more subscribers since it can be pretty time-consuming.
