This was our special treat 7.30pm every single Thursday night after dinner & homework..And us lads went to bed later the same night with these girls still living rent-free inside our filthy teenage imaginations too lol....Anyone got some Kleenex or Andrex?😂🥰
I've spent my whole life, well since my teens and especially in my 30's & 40's, being compared to LULU. I've had complete strangers burst out singing "Shout" on the opposite side of the street, and had waiters in restaurants ask me if anyone had ever told me I look like LULU, it became the inside joke with my circle of g/f's when we went out, someone always approached me and brought up the comparison. I was not too fond of the comparison as a teen, in my 30's+ I loved it.
This track version (ICPark) is the original. The remake in 1972+ was at a faster rythm and different lyric interjections. Much prefer this original - banned by the BBC
what a fantastic video! cherry is angelically pretty! all of pans people were stunning but she was arguably the nicest, or was it dee dee? or mary? or louise? god they were all so lovely, what a great era that was, girls were so much prettier and feminine in those days, love that lou rawls track, thanks so much for another great video
It's a shame you don't upload this and other videos in better quality, which is available, Roger. You have a good channel that could be even better. And it would be nice to see you take time to reply to those who post very favorable comments.
If you truly think about it, Flick went from the States to the UK and sold them on a concept, that originated in the States but was spreading like wildfire. Little did the BBC nor Flick realize exactly how big that wildfire would eventually be. I miss them performing, and certainly miss them who already has gone. Love you all ladies.
