I am in the UK and I mainly renovate Juke Boxes however I have just spotted one of these for sale. Thanks to you video I am now going to buy this to renovate. Really enjoyed this.
Easiest… best way: XLR out of Deep, XLR out of drive… into recording interface. Each on its on channel in your DAW of choice… blend. And blend. One dirty, one cleaner. Sansamp is the shit.
would you know where i could buy a working unit? i used to play this for a nickel at our local bowling alley when i was growing up and would dearly like to see if i can find one. so far no luck can you help me ?
Thanks for your offering and participation on this brak 0777! Just a quick question. I'm running Mixing Station on Android for the X18 table top mixer. I've connected it via ethernet because I couldn't get it to see the IP address for wifi. The routing matrix in MS shows that all the inputs are routed to the same number channels, 1-16 to 1-16. Just looking at channel 1, it shows that input 1 is routed to it and ch 1 confirms that, showing it on the strip. It seems I can't get a signal either visually on the meter or in audio through headphones. Because ch 1 is hi impedance, I plugged a guitar in and confirmed that the signal is reaching the jack end that's being inserted into ch 1. Is there anything else that you know of that would interrupt or reroute the signal between the input and the channel? If not, I may have to concede that I have a defective X18 unit. Thanks again for your time! Will Williams
I got a TD-7 a few years ago, it's a great drum module even if it's around 30 years old. It took some time but now I fully understand how to set this up. The factory settings are bullsh*t to be honest, spent a few hours to change it to my needs and now it's sounding great :)
Thank you for ur comment. I was wondering how old this drum set is based on these folks hair and dress style and you just answered exactly what I thought. 30 yrs would make sense with those hair styles
Cool vid I recently got a gottleib roller coaster 1971 I think and trying to get tips on working on it I found a burned relay and the score board keeps running also won’t load a ball so hopefully the new relay will fix it
Glad you enjoyed it. As far as some tips, if your score motor is still running when you start, do your score reels go to zero? A very common problem is that switches on the score reel are not properly adjusted and the score motor will keep spinning until those switches are adjusted. This would also explain the ball not ejecting because it wont until the score reels are on zero. Good luck!
@@Brak0777 thank you for your response, the scoreboard does not go to zero would the tracking control relay that’s burned cause that or do I have 2 issues and I have to look into that adjustment as well
I am not quite sure what the tracking control relay is. Maybe it has another name? As far as the score reels go, check to see if the score reels are attempting to get to zero which would be indicated by a slight rocking motion. If you see that, most likely the switches in the score reel need adjustment. Caution though, Gottlieb switches on the score reels are very difficult and don't like significant adjustments. If you have a score reel that is going to zero properly, look at how they are set up first before any adjustments. A lot of make and break movement as the reel approaches and leaves the numbers 9 thru 0. Just a complete PAIN!!!! ( :
Wow !!!! In recent years I really got into electronic drums ! I bought the TD17kvx, then I wanted better feel on the snare drum, so I got the TD27 Module and the digital snare. I really want the digital hi-hat's and ride, but they're really expensive...lol Definitely getting them when they come down in price. I can't believe how good this TD7 set is !!!!! I was on Wikipedia looking at the history of Roland modules and saw that the TD7 looked like their first module if that graph is correct. It says it was made in 1992, so I looked up videos to hear how it sounds and reacts, and I'm blown away by how good this module is !!!!! I thought it was gonna sound like pork and have tons of machine gunning and Casio style sounds... Hehehehehehe Boy was I wrong !!!!! If I see this module for sale, I'd probably get it just for all the cool sounds, and to own a part of history !!!! The band in the video was excellent too, and this drummer is fantastic and such a diverse player. I really enjoyed this entire video ! Thanks !!!!! 👍😁👍
This is actually quite a versatile module. I really liked that you could do sound layering on each pad. For instance, for the snare drum, I would make the "loose snare" patch the first sound and then a harder /cracking sounding snare sound come through as you hit harder. I loved that feature.
I just bought a used Dean acoustic bass and I'm going to Musicland to look at the Dean gig bag for $75. I hope it fits. The Mgr was reluctant to go upstairs and actually show me the $60 Gator gig bag. He kept pointing to the "chincy" acoustic guitar bag he had hanging for $29.99 and said it's just like this but wouldn't actually show it to me.
That's is frustrating when you ask for what you want and they put barriers up! WHat's the big deal?? HAHAH I think Im a little bit snotty in that I prefer always a good case because I throw my guitars in the back seat of my car. and I want a quick set up and tear down when my band gigs.
2:37 in and i already caught some bullshit hahaha. no snare hit. are they all just playing over prerecorded midi drum tracks and the drummer is sort of lip-syncing, for lack of better words? like, he doesn't have to b perfect bc they're just 'gonna use the pre recorded drums. i wonder how many other shenanigans i'll spot...
I'm sure that was just a video audio lag, or they REALLY spent weeks if not months on a hoax that ummm, I can't imagine doing. For what ??? LOL Makes no sense.
I just went back and watched more over again because of your comment... This would go down in history as the most well executed hoax in history...lol There's absolutely no way they fudged anything in this video. Even if they did it today with AI, I don't know if they could have come this close... Haaaaaa This is old, and those parts are too intricate. Again, why would a bunch of professional musicians and whoever worked on this cable access level video spend the insane amount of effort to make a hoax video...lol I can't imagine the amount of takes it would take to do something of this level of perfection. Month's of takes to get it this good...lol Anywho, I don't want anyone else to think this, so I had to object to something that silly and tinfoil hat, to go unquestioned.
@@laptoples i'm not saying the drummer isn't amazing bc he is but for budgets it's common to pull bs like what i'm describing. i caught other perts too. they most likely took multiple takes and the stuff i caught was just visually a different take but the sound had already been captured and they laid that over the final film. great upload none the less. :)
I downloaded loaded this for our church. The behringer app isn’t working anymore. When I press like EQ or compression it closes out. All I can do is use the main faders. My question is, I can’t seem to find where I can have a main fader option. There is one that says gain. But of course it turns the volume up on mains AND monitors. How do I just turn a channel up on mains as well?
you can also take a jumper cable and plug it into the Deep output and return in the fx loop and press the 50/50 and than the the output of the drive becomes single. The level 2 than becomes blend of deep and drive and the level one because master volume.
Sure, that would work too. However, if I can reduce gear, it is one less thing I worry about and one less thing that can create noise in the signal chain. Also, with Tech 21 putting this jumper in place, it is a normal function of the Ged-2112 that does not impact the functionality and it is a reversable modification. I also have the YYZ pedal, which is a normal one input, one output pedal that works very well.
Thanks! 600 on a nickel machine would be $40 win. I used to have one in my old tavern in Newport, Oregon. I never figured out how to play it, but some of the old fishermen did. Mainly by putting matchbooks under the legs. So guys that won regularly, like Bad Ted and Pogo, I had to 86 from the machine.. The state finally outlawed it when they put their video poker in. I guess you would have to use OK button to get the odds up to 600?
Thank you so much for this video! Since iOS 16 messed up the X AIR app, Mixing Station has come to my rescue. However, I was totally lost when I first pulled it up. Is there any chance you would update this video with the latest version of Mixing Station? I was able to find most of the things you demonstrated but the layout and some names of things are a little different now. Thanks again!
I've recently hooked my td7 to my Garage band via a MIDI -usb converter. I use the garage band sounds and record myself. I'm not sure if I'm just a shocking player or sometimes the triggers are a bit slow but geewhiz ... Lol other then that I don't mind the kit but the pads are a bit hard.... My hands hurt after using the kit
