The fact that you're willing to put in this much effort and waste this much time protesting to SONY when it takes literally 30 seconds to create a PlayStation account is sick. Yet for other games it's perfectly fine with you guys to need to make an account? You don't even need to own a PlayStation or pay a single penny. It's completely free and takes 30 seconds to do. Grow up.
The problem is that there's literally hundreds of country's that can't make PSN accounts. Imagine having a game that you payed for just for Sony to give you a big middle finger 3 months later telling you "You can't play this game that you payed for now because PSN isn't even available in your country, no refunds since you've played it for so long." And not to mention Sony's super exiting annual data breaches. What better than to link an unsafe account straight to your Steam account?
