@beaucoupdeschoses yes thankfully Transport Canada does not require VIA Rail to have a buffer car at the end of their consist any longer they definitely were hideous
You got the 4 Canadian Pacific AC4400CWs for the runaway train in Unstoppable mixed up, CP 9782 and 9777 played AWVR 777 and CP 9751 and 9758 played AWVR 767.

Thanks yes I only wish I could have filmed it with the Vancouver Olympic logo on it. If I’m not mistaken this is the only one left with the white strip left on it and something like 20 locomotives had this paint from 2008 till after the Olympics finished
It's a shame there was more corporate money and government tax money given to airports and interstate highways. Passenger trains had a lot of good thing about them. In fact, they are coming back with "high speed rail" which is a very real thing. Leave it to government and politicians. They promoted highways and then airports and now with all of the congestion and problems, they now promote high speed rail!
