It turned out there was a screw twice the size it should have been sticking out from the back of the gas pedal. The screw was hooking on to the corner of a plastic piece every time I floored it. I had just had a new Rennline pedal set installed. Will do my own installs the next time!!

you didnt change down a gear. you need to be in 3rd approaching that corner then 2nd going around it
