The audio and narration in this video are absolutely horrible. The vocal has an unnatural spike at 240hz to 300hz, masking much of what's being said. Also the inflections and emphasis of the narrators voice is completely baffling for an English language video. The voice is meek and monotone. The production is cheap, careless, and distorted. All of this could have been remedied in post production to some extent, but its the choice of narrator, trimming the input sensitivity of the vocal microphone, and equalization on the channel strip that would have made the difference. Unfortunately, and this is no fault of the narrator, but understanding the topic of which you're narrating is of obvious importance, when making an informational and educational video. I was really looking forward to the information in this video. So disappointed...
Having read about the problematic development of torpedoes during WW2 I wouldn't worry about these things until they are shown to work in combat situations. It's one thing to develop something in controlled environments - another thing entirely to use them when under hostile conditions. I'm not saying they won't work, but history does have a knack of repeating itself.
🫣 maybe our Dutch Navy will buy 4......not our first choice...but politics.Holland prefers the A26 Saab/ Damen much better quality. On the end the Barracuda will cost us way more tax money..for sure!
highly unstable and unreliable design of supercavitation torpedo. when i look the design. it might simply work when the is no wave and under current. and when it reaches turning angle it will drastically slow down or go out direction. it can't be done by just designing the torpedo head. it might be possible in the coming future.
Something you forgot: Iranian fast ships have missiles that can fires 50 km away while they are sailing to the attack! Also the have trophy system too!!! Also how about ground to sea missilery?
U.s. Navy's codag system on lcs ships proved over complicated and incapable of clutching properly big waste of money. Should have been proof of concepts first.
projection of power is always aimed for evil intent, expansionism at oppressing the weak with out respect to international law because it depends on its might like hitler and russian strongmen.
Um. Just a question, but when exactly did Naval Postova (ovich?) replace Jane's? I've BEEN in Russia, people. Lived there for a few years. They ARE the paper "supremacy" idiots you hope they are. New cool toys, when the truth is they are failing because of other things than their really neat new toys, all 8 or 9 of them. Whip out that spiffy tank, Russia. Since it's going to revolutionize armored warfare and over run ALL your enemies in moments. You might want to publicize this in Ukraine, since they did not get the memo...
Has anyone mentioned the guidance system? Oh, let's use the missile terminus systems Russia uses as an example? If they fired a missile with whatever munition aboard at oh, let's say Las Vegas? They would be supremely lucky if they hit Nevada anywhere. Why? Russian GPS relies on 6 satellites. Total. US GPS uses...oh, that's right. 248 satellites. Bit less likely to jam, what?
