This will be a test for Donny to see if the expected result actually comes to fruition after the loss a few weeks back to Newport when Donny were tipped to win with ease... I can't see anything else but a Donny away win after Harrogate have lost their last 3 and Donny will be buoyed after beating previously top of the league Gillingham at the Eco Power... I'm going for a 0-3 comfortable Donny away win with goals from Molyneux, Bailey and Sharp...⚽️⚽️⚽️ One to watch for me for Harrogate is Jack Muldoon...Always good for an odd goal and seems to be one of those players that steps up his performance in front of the Sky Sports camera's... A win is over due here for Donny. Is it a case of second season syndrome for Hattogate and finding the going a bit tough this time around. A perfect opportunity to stamp our credentials as promotion candidates. Our tails are up and time to kick on so I going 0-2 win. Great prematch blog as always 👍
Going back some way, when at Belle Vue I remember us playing Bristol Rovers who at that time were running away with the old 3rd division. We beat them 5-1 with McEndoe scoring one off his bum that day! Not as good tomorrow, but 3-1 to Rovers.
This is a game where both our defence and forwards are going to need to be on their game if we are to get anything out of the game. I think your dad might be correct with a 2-2. Best regards to all

The good old desmond is my prediction (2-2) and I think it's gonna be a top game between 2 very good teams... Shambolic show! Who had better results than Wrexham in last 2 games? 5 scored, 0 allowed, 6 points, one being away at the Posh?! I’ll answer for you- no one although Barrow matched them with 6 points, 5 scored 0 allowed. (They have a loss tho, which Wrexham doesn’t). And I know Sunderland is only one of the 72 to have 12 from 12 but they didn’t have last two games better than Wrexham, scoring 4 letting up 1. What’s it going to take, slapping Birmingham back to earth on the 16th to get you lot to give them their due? Maybe ought to call it the 71 Review. Almost got me cancelling Britbox but then I’d miss that daft dude who loves AFC Wimbledon from New Tricks! That would be as painful for me as a round trip train ride from Plymouth to the Stadium of Light sitting next to Wayne Rooney for a certain fan of the show…Shambles!!
@@jph418 shambolic show? I think you’re being unnecessarily harsh here. We don’t have all the time in the world to discuss every club. We didn’t talk about Stockport who are having as equally as good a start to life in league one in terms of points. I’m pretty sure Ian and I mentioned the positive start when looking at the table though so don’t think there’s any sort of agenda here because there isn’t. We just simply don’t have the time to talk about every club, every week. Sunderland have 100% record, the only one in the 72. Regardless of GF/GA so rightfully we’re talked about a little more this weekend.
Giving you a hard time Dan. What happened to “loving the banter”? And yes, when you brought the table up, you mentioned Stockport and Wrexham as being off to great start. Part you should have mentioned is when you always say, any other games stand out this week… Surley Wrexham’s 2 wins stood out. That’s all Dapper! Think you know I love the show and chose that word and ended the comment with Britbox and Argyle trip to be humorous, at least in my mind. And Sunderland deserves all the plaudits it gets with their perfect start and more importantly, as their TV show was ultimately responsible for the Wrexham headache you lot will have for many years to come! @@jph418 my bad mate. I think I’ve misinterpreted the comment when reading it and took it as a serious dig at the show and Ian and I for not singling out Wrexham. I like to think that we take most criticism on board and try to improve through the constructive criticism and I just saw “shambolic show!” At 04:30 and jumped straight on the defensive. My apologies pal. We do try to mix it up with the teams we talk about to try and keep as many people happy as possible. Wrexham have had a great start and deserved to have been highlighted last night in fairness.
Let’s get a win over Moores Port Vale, especially as he didn’t rate Alfie May and looked what he has achieved since he went. I have never forgiven him.

I'm going for a 1-2 Donny away win...Good performance on Tues by Donny in the Carabao Cup despite the 3-0 scoreline which massively flattered Everton... Donny imo will be to strong for Port Vale in the middle of the park and I expect the likes of Bailey and Molyneux to run the show... Donny will have to keep an eye on Midfielder Ben Garrity as well as he's had a decent start to this season and there's always a goal in him... Fair play to Donny & their fans put on a good show Everton just stepped it up a bit in the 2nd half. As an Everton fan not a 3-0 game in my opinion you guys done well & run out a steam later in the game. thankyou all for visiting our Historic stadium in her final year. you were all sat in the Bullens Road stand which together with Gwladys Street stands were the only existing football stands in Britain that witnessed a World Cup Semi-Final. how's that for history (..and if you know?). the other point i will make is that your team only got beat by one goal more than the last time Liverpool visited here. we wish you at Donnie well all season ...and us

Great video as always. Thought our fans were amazing last night and proud of the team. Could have scored with a little more conviction in front of goal. Nice to see Goodison for the last time although I wish I'd got tickets for the lower tier as the view was crap at the top tier back rows!
