Thank you so much for the video. And especially for focusing in on the historical markers. Easy to pause and read them. I learned a lot that I never knew. I'm a 48-year-old trucker, and I remember the day in 2003 when I heard on the radio that Johnny Cash had died. My heart broke that day. God bless y'all, and thanks so much again for doing this. Very insightful. If I ever retire, I'd love to visit Hendersonville.
Thought the State Fair was in Nashville where Fan Fair 1986 was held. Now, I'll get back to the video. I remember me and my friend LeAnn getting stopped right at the top of the double ferris wheel at the Oklahoma State Fair when we were still in Fillmore Elementary School back in the late 70's. I didn't like that. Really enjoyed your video.
Regal black walnut with Quarterman sound cone. It is not a laminated / plywood guitar. It is true solid walnut top, back and sides. My favorite guitar! Thank you for asking!😊
I didn't breathe properly at birth and got some brain damage which I still live with today. I love music 🎶 but the only thing I managed to play was the Harmonica which the Doctor recommended for my breathing. I played it until I was 50 and people said I was as good as some pros! I bought ALL of Charlie McCoys recordings. (Not good as him) I was invited to play at a Church Revival and when we ate some snacks a fellow with MS sat across from me. He asked me if I played any other instruments. He played the Dobro but he said his health is getting worse and was selling his instruments. He said I'm asking $300 for my Dobro. I told him I can't play a stringed 🪕 instrument. I'm unable to move my left hand fingers independently. He said this is just what you need as you fret with a metal bar! After the show he gave me ONE lesson on where the cords are. I got some advice from other players for six months until i felt confident to play. I'm 79 now and I figured out how to string a Banjo and Steel 🎸 Guitar so I could fretbar it. I play at Churches - Care homes and Senior Centers. All because a person worse than me told me not to give up! I'm sure he's dead now but his don't quit attitude still lives in me!! To see old people get up out of their wheelchairs and shuffle their feet and come tell me they enjoyed our music and come back is something 💰 can't buy!
Unfortunately, there are no good Indian restaurants in Nashville. A few places do one or two things ok, that's about it. Bombay Palace isn't one of them and looks like they add food coloring. If you ever get the opportunity, try South Asian food in Queens, NYC. It's authentic there. When you can create synergy between that many ingredients, it's epic.
