Waterproof the connection, that was my mistake as a d.i.y home system installer , connections failed, so i taught myself to rj45 plug install with a male to male connector , then when it tested as working again- i Waterproofs taped the connections .. been fine since then . Love hikvision stuff ❤
6) Dont use the included security screw tool. Buy one from the store with a proper handle. It will save your fingers and wrist alot of pain. Those security tool ends have ended up broken off in the screw head, very cheaply made regardless of brand.
Hik Vision is the best brand of surveillance system I have used. Great image quality, more secure than many competitors, and great technical support staff to help with minor issues. I recommend Hikvision to all my customers and have not had many issues overall. A+ rating for sure. Loving the PTZ(pan, tilt, zoom) camera I recently purchased and installed at my small business.

Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.
This a fraud company this tech is nothing but shit it takes all the false alarms even after setting the parameters correctly and reducing the sensitivity to 40 . I have PIR SENSOR CCTV WITH SIRENS AND VU light top of the segments
