Good video. Very helpful. Apparently, this system does not allow multiple views on a single screen such as displaying a clock, media playing, navigation, and/or other information at the same time. I own a 2023 Highlander Platinum and was hoping for a single interface. Thanks for teaching me on other issues.
Is there a graphic display of your favorites so you don’t have to scroll up and down the left side of the screen for your AM/FM or satellite radio selections. I have a 2024 Venza limited 12.3 screen. I like the older system better but I’ll have to get used to it. Scrolling while driving is not safe
Sorry but these are super basic features. Basically it connects to Bluetooth and you can play music through your phone.. absolutely nothing new here. At minimum it should have Spotify or other music apps built in so you don't need to connect to a 3rd party device.
wow Ive watched like 10 other reviews and no one connected them to a mock car (they just turned them on but not simulating car on reverse etc ) BRILLIANT
I have a Sony ax 3200, now you have to make sure everything is off on the head unit correct like the high and low pass filter and eq. I just want to make sure I do this correctly. Thank you
This is very helpful. Very clear and comprehensive. I got all the needed info I am looking for. Plus other cool stuffs that will be very useful. Thanks bro.
Bought my car used and the previous owner didn't clear her info. I can't seem to do anything without entering a PIN that I don't have, any suggestions?
I have the 4000 and at 83 years old I find the screen faded or washed out as others have described it. I have a really hard time making out the maps. Have you seen this in your review of it. I seldom drive at night so I don’t know how it would look. Thanks.
Great sub, it's a shame you can't get one anywhere. I'm in the UK and online they either don't have it in stock or like on ebay and amazon don't even have a picture of one SAD....
What I find most disturbing is after paying for a service such as Pandora or Spotify monthly, I will pay again each time I play the music because of not owning the song that is playing my cell phone will charge the song as data ever time I play it. I would think that paying for the usage of the service should cover that. I suppose that most people do not look at the amount of data usage on their phone. I , for one, do not use a large amount of data so, I like to keep an eye on the amount that is being used. For this reason, it makes for financial sense to switch to Sirius XM- their total fee will cover the usage of the data each time a song is played because the phone will not be used, I believe the Sirius XM is used via the system onboard the Highlander. To get an even better deal- would be to get the package that includes video for home usage and audio for home usage on another device. I cannot believe that running music through one's cell phone would not have gotten more attention to being double charged. Also, while one might enjoy the so-called privacy of speaking out loud on a cell phone has one not considered the fact that everything said on the cell is transmitted to the speaker located somewhere under the hood. People outside the car can hear your entire phone conversation. I noticed this long before I purchased this vehicle. I turn my engine off before I engage in a private phone conversation. How is that for tell the world you personal information?
OK anybody I just received these speakers the 6.5s plan on putting them in my tour pack. So I was looking at the tour pack/lower fairing grills this is gonna sound stupid but how in the world do you put the grills on? the metal grill is over the screw holes. Help please.
Thanks for the video @caraudionow. I have a 36ft SportCruiser already equipped with a MS-RA770 and GPSMAP 8610xsv. I would like to use (2) 8 Channel Apollo Amplifiers to power speakers in 4 zones. I noticed that Fusion says I must use Fusion speakers because the amps do not have crossover adjustments. I cannot do this because some speakers are mounted in areas which will not accommodate the depth of their 8" speakers (plus the cut holes are already too big in diameter). Each speaker location already has High Pass crossovers at each 8" and tweeter. If the Fusion App allows me to adjust the gain, could I use my existing speakers/crossovers or is this a bad idea? Basically I am considering replacing and consolidating an array of (6) Kicker IX500.2, (1) IX1000.1, and (1) Marine Audio MAA120 amps down to the (2) Fusion Apollo amps to modernize and add some of the newer features where the amps can be tuned via the head unit mobile app. I think I just need two 8 channel Apollo amps to get the same power (actually a bit more) as the old Kicker and Marine Audio Amps. Or am I crazy and wasting my time since the existing amps are already working? Speaker setup: 4 zones split up as Tower: (4) 8” mids and (4) tweeters Cockpit: (6) 8” mids and (4) tweeters Cabin: (4) 8” mids and (4) tweeters Bow: (2) 8” mids and (2) tweeters Subs: (2) Kicker 10" Solo-Baric Subs 8" Mids are Eminence Beta 8CX Tweeters are Eminence APT 50 Passive crossovers are Eminence PX-B 3K5 Thank you for your guidance.
Question: I had a 2020 Toyoata Highlander Platinum and was able to see a live weather radar map under the Info option. I just upgraded to a 2024 Toyota Platinum highlander but cannot find that option
Does the bass, treble and mid on the head unit need to be set to 0 when doing this? If so after you set the gains will adjusting the head unit change the distortion and need to be redone with the DD1?
I just got home with a 2024 toyota highlander hybrid Platinum, I see on the screen you have that the back screen is black . My screen is white how do you change it? Video is very good.
