I used Super Clean on mine. It took off the mold release right off. I have also heard of people using WD-40, but hen you would have to get that off too.

I really dig your truck for some reason! Can't put my finger on it... LOL But seriously, great work! I'm still rocking the original Grabbers with some modification to the treads. I also have a decent amount of brass installed in the wheel hubs and differential covers.
I can tell you from my experience of running the Goodyear Mtr tyres except I'm running 1.7 so the either 3.7or 4.2 and they are absolutely a monster when it comes to grip you could say because of them I have destroyed my crown and pinion plus a hex pin from going through flash floods
Think about environment guys ffs. Running tap water as you scrub? That is your drinking water man... All the chemicals for the hobby tyre that goes in the mud? This is crazy. I ride mtb, we wash bikes too, we don't wash the tires to shine. Also there is this crazy usefull tool, called bucket. An offroad tire should be dirty, that is the correct look.
Yes, the 225 hubs will work, but depending on what tires you run there may be a decent amount of rubbing. I’ve found that anything over a 4.65 tall tire rubs.
This looks like the perfect upgrade for when I do make an engine purchase.. the trailmaster sport 21t has been good to me so far but this looks like the perfect upgrade
Cool vid, very informative thank you. however I have a friend that got the sendero kit and bought the club 5 links to install during the build, I helped him with it but were having issues with the compression and droop on the passenger side where it bolts to the axle, seems like it’s binding and the link is hitting the reinforcement tab on the top of the axle, the bend on the panhard is towards the top but still hits at compression, any suggestions would be appreciated thanx
Hi was the shaft length on the Holmes Hobbies too long then? Interested because I am about to order a Holmes Hobbies 550 Crawlmaster 12T for my Sendero HD.
@@jayshobbycave2046 John must have changed the specification on the motor shaft length. I received a 550 Crawlmaster Sport 12T today and found out the shaft is a little too long, l had drill out the gear housing cover so the shaft doesn't rub.
Im a welder been welding for 30yrs .some of these bsolder joints are hell its like they just dont want to take the solder hard time getting it to pool and stick to wires
A big portion of your problem is not having the venting in the wheel or the tire there once the tire is compressed there's no way for the air to get back in so that's a quick and easy fix is just to put a hole in it somewhere
Hi great channel great truck just wondering with the tray set up is there a standard tray one with out the roll cage I want of a work truck or as we say in Australia work Ute set up just a flat top tray or would be something that would have to be custom made
In my personal opinion I think The wheel and tire cleaner is a bit much, In my Opinion because I use Adams wheel and tire cleaner and it’s chemically strong, I just used a little Dawn soap! We’re here if it’s working for you more power to you literally LOL
I have a modded Trailwalker. I put the steering links to the front of the axle, this gives me more steering. I also turned it into a half cab/mud truck style body, way better performance. No more hang-ups with that awful bed in the rear.

I ran a 14 and 45 in my castle setup , goes just over 30 mph and rips now but I am gearing down and going to the 2 in 1 combo fusion , so quiet and tunable much better for a crawler ....and speed is what the XMAXX I just got is for lol. 😬
