January 1991. The Marine Corps at the time flew us in a civilian DC-10 to Saudi during the buildup for Desert Storm. The stewardesses were crying when we got off the plane because they thought we were all going to get killed.
I swear the Chief gets all the respect in the world from me. Watching this he displays some of the best qualities of a human being and , toughness, compassion, honor, empathy, service before self, humorous, humble, assertive, and leads by example but can take charge if needed. I would love to write a book about his story. Thank you for your service, Chief.
Shelling kids in small towns is something i will never understand. Americans are no different than russians shelling kids in ukraine. Poor tactics, very poor....
Today 8-1-2024 the US Government is paying the Taliban 42 to 87 million a week. Dont believe this look it up. The Talib is in control women are being beaten and not allowed to go to school and now the Chinese are set up and mining precious metals. So yeah like the Soldiers said your not gonna change Afghanistan. And Obama sucks and always had
46:00 just left the village knowing there were tons of elders and women/children but still mortared back. Cant say im surprised multiple kids died. 1:14:30 “a marine left it back at the compound” literally the most junior marine sentence ive ever heard. Wow Does the American terp even speak English ffs. No idea wtf he was ever even saying
My dad was a USAF FAC (O-1 Bird Dog) at Khe Sanh during the Hill Battles. How he made it back alive and the PTSD he endured still amazes me. He passed away in 2021. I pray he finally found the solace he deserved.
It looks like a buncha Germans you know what I mean I'm sayen you know in order to get things done you gotta feel good before they got on the plane they were picking at the Americans with pictures those guys were all skinheads and and Germans are considered insurgents I had the benladden trading courses i should know
My friend, Combat Engineer, 1371, Bill Womble died on 881. I don’t remember which one. An rpg hit him in the head as he was helping out covering a with draw. At that time engineers still had m14s. The grunts had m16s. When I had two weeks left on my tour they issued us the 16s. I refused to take it until my platoon Sgt. took my 14. November 1967.
The scary thing is that now after 3 wars the US still didnt think of a system to help the returning brave ones they send out to war. they send THOUSANDS out to war, but when they come back its; oh we cant help that many people. Its so damn crazy and incredibly sad
Watching Chief Motz talk is the saddest part of this video. Hes clearly got severe PTSD and can tell just by the way he talks. Just sad for our troops who did all this for nothing
Whoever called in mortar fire and 105s is a scumbag. Why the fuck would you fire an area weapon into a village full of civilians even if you are taking enemy fire.
