Dorothy: Mother lives at the Shady Pines Retirement Home Blanche: Oh the Shady Pines, I know the Shady Pines, it's a lovely place! Sophia: IT'S A PRISON! They lock us in our rooms and force us to look like we're having fun, then they take pictures for their brochure. Dorothy: Ma you know that's not true!
I was sooooo happy for Dorothy and Lucas getting married i thought Stan was gonna stop the wedding and remarry Dorothy but im glad he didn't 38 years was enough then they were gonna marry again but Stan wanted her to sign a prenuptial agreement but he was the one that was doing the cheating and got the nerve smh im glad she married Lucas
Why did Deborah invite her mom and Dad. I felt she shouldn't have done that. It was a Barone family portrait. She was wrong to do that. I always felt Deborah was against Raymond with everything. In real life that marriage wouldn't have lasted. When I was married to my first husband and I say first because he is the one I was with for 26 years. The in-laws never got photos taken together. Anyway that's my feeling on it.
I am 46 years old and from the time I was 7 years old, my grandmother watched The Girls every week and I watched with her. Didn't understand all the sexual things, but I still watch it every night with my 16 year old daughter. I LOVE every moment on this show

Those gals were funny. They worked so well together! I just watched Betty White on Johnny Carson when Joan Rivers was guest hosting. Omg! They roasted each other till they were toasted but each totally appreciated the fine art of the sarcastic burn! So very close to drawing blood but so darn funny they had to laugh and give props. I miss Mary Tyler Moore, Carol burnett, golden girls, ladies from then were something else, eh? Missing my Mom, favorite Aunt and Gramma. They were always funny.
These ladies were a class act with their comedic timing. I grew up watching them and now that Im in 50s its still in loop on my TV. You cant beat the classics.
I watched every episode of the Golden Girls. I was in my late fifties when their program started. They always had a problem they had to work out, and sometimes their reactions and their trying to do something good turned into complete chaos. Each one of them had their own story and at times their own problems trying to work it out. Sometimes their problems were like my problems and believe me many of my problems were easier to work out because of watching their problems. The Golden Girls was one of the best programs that actually showed how our lives could be and how much older Women had to work at life in general.
