This crossing lost the most interesting feature pretty recently, the crossing got all new Siemens stuff. That being the Federal Signal pedestrain gate.
It’s great to see UP 6936 back up and running. Hopefully the RRHMA can get PTC in the BEAST of a diesel locomotive to pull an excursion train. I also find it interesting that they reverted UP 6936 back to its 1969 era paint scheme

Really nice stuff! Especially like the close up / long lens slow speed footage, plus the stopped railyard footage. A pretty sharp looking locomotive for sure. I wonder, though, been watching all the rail fan footage being posted from Calgary on down, but at no times have they let it run flat out. I see that, whenever the UP steamers are out and rolling, they are highballing around 70mph, don't think i've seen CPKC 2816 past 50mph. This Hudson class was rated for 70+mph, and this one obviously is in pristine running shape...is there a speed limit on the CPKC main track? Or is it just the Canadians saying "unh, unhh, uhhhh...lets not get too excited -- this thing was like, really expensive!!!"

Hey buddy There’s something I have to tell you so I went to the train show in my area someone told me that 1522 will never be restored the reason being it is a plain baring locomotive because all the barings are friction barings not roller barings and plain barings are a no and I mean they are hard to find but they could put roller barings on the pilot wheels and trailing wheels but to put them inside the driving boxes they would have to redesign the frame which means they would have to redo the entire frame of the engine and unfortunately she may never run again but like you said if she were to run again they would need new sheet metal new roller barings and get the drive wheels again and if they get the money to get it done 1522 may run again.
