If you can imagine that the right leg is the leg on the floor, then she will rotate counter-clockwise and left leg for clockwise. To make this easier, stop video and make your choice: right or left. Then start video again.
After 10 minutes of trying, i found 2 ways how to change the direction of the spin. First one, focus on the heel, and convince yourself that it is spinning in the direction you want it to. Second, focus on the picture and blink your eyes rapidly while imagining it spinning to direction you want it to.
can make it switch to either side , quite easily tph, look at it going clockwise then quickly look at shadow and changes to anticlockwise, then same again, works for me
I finally leatned how this works! Its basically a spinning ballerina but it looks like it changed because i think her leg is perfect shaped and the colors are flat
I think the real illusion is that she's not actually spinning. She's doing some sort of weird back and forth that gives the illusion of spinning. It's hard to explain
I think I figured it out (at least for me) You need to look at somewhere else and see here only from your peripheral vision. I tried to lock in so that I can look at her directly, but she it immediately switch back to clockwise.
You dont need to concentrate to make her spin the other way just focus on the shadow of her foot once they connect blink this will cause your brain to recalculate making her spin as much in whatever direction you like in less than 3 secs
If you can't not concentrate (like me 😂): The trick for me is looking at the shadow/reflection foot on the floor. Just looking at it naturally, I see the ballerina CW. So the direction her toes point on the ground would be right (3 o'clock), left (9 o'clock over and over again. Concentrate until you see the toes *starting at left* and then going right, left, right, left. If you can maintain this concentration and kinda "zoom out" to the rest of the image, the rest will adjust
What have you people been smoking? She turns clockwise, I concentrated on the image for the duration of the video and by the end, she was still turning clockwise...🙄
Wtf y really just have to look abit away from screen and kinda move your eyeballs towards the direction you want and the ballerina will change her direction!!!
A trick to this is to not concentrate at all, look away from the screen and just have her on the corner of your eye so that her movement is just a blur, this removes any sense of depth and makes it wayyy easier to imagine her going in any direction. Another way is to cover her feet and focus on her knees
I can easily see that they move it the opposit way some times intentionally as it is 3d and you can see it become smaller when it goes farther away obviously
tengo un truco: imaginar un cilindro rotando a la dirección que quieres que gire ella. O en vez de cilindro puede ser una flecha y también se puede controlar con la mano girando el dedo a la dirección que quiere que ella gire
Wow. I somehow managed to make her turn in 4 different ways: -clockwise on her right leg (outside turns) -clockwise on her left leg (inside turns) -counterclockwise on her left leg (outside turns) -counterclockwise on her right leg (inside turns) wth I'm not even joking. Try it. For an hour even, if you have to
