Top 👍hab auch noch ne xbox series x mit beep on beep off. Hab nur noch nicht rausgefunden wo der Fehler sein könnte. Vielleicht ist es bei mir ja auch ein Powermosfet. Weiter so✌️
Immer noch beep on beep off.
Thank you. :) Yes, the laser is from AliExpress. If I need a part next day, I have another seller. His parts are also from AliExpress, but doesn't need six days to be delivered.
Very true. Beside the new modell, where the the heatsink is poorly glued to the holding bracket, which causes a very nice lever to press uneven on the APU top, if become loose, I'm wondering what is the cause at the older modells, where in my experience the heatsink shows no noticeable movement.
🎉very nice video... I have a ps5(edm-020) with my disk drive issue. It was making weird grinding noise after i press eject button.Im stuck in a loop.So I decided to open and realign the drive...after that The drive will work perfectly when i place it horizontally...but the moment I put it vertical..ir will take cd...but after the first ejection the drive will keep on making grinding noise and it will no longer take cd unless I realign and put the ps5 horizon....Im super lost Can you please suggest me how to diagnose next?Thank so so much❤❤❤❤
@@stetofix thank you for the reply. Also when i switch it on ...one of the 2 black ic on the disc drive logice board heats up within one minute...is this normal? Also the gear looks good...like is there a way to open it fully to check? Because it just wont work at all when placed vertically...but only function horizontally.. thanks for your heĺp i appreciate it
There is the manual eject screw head. If you turn it, with a screwdriver, you can check if a disc will be transported correctly in and out. I would test multible times if this works in both orientations without any issues.
@@contagiousdoge3054 I don't think that is an electrical issue, because this would appear regardless which orientation the PS5 has. I would remove the outer housing shell and check where the noise is coming from.
read a story early launch of a strange noise, turned out to a internal sticker from the factory somewhere had came loose and was flapping when ps5 was on,
Thank you. :) The blown 12V fuse could be caused by overload at the mechanic. Pushing or pulling the disc while in transfer. But for the 5V rail I'm not sure...
This looks like an ongoing problem since the PS4, PS4 Pro and continuing to the PS5 and probably the upcoming PS5 Pro. Their connectors are too tight, so if the person cleaning up the console isn't extremely careful, the fan (or previously also power connector) can rip off. It hasn't happened to me so far, and I always feel how stubborn those connectors are to remove and I use a small flat-head screwdriver to push the two apart, so that way I'm pushing the connector to the board instead of off of it.
I sometimes think that this design is made on purpuse. Easy to forget and then ripped off while taking the console apart. At least Sony made an easy access to fan at the PS5. XD
@@stetofix Your method is excellent and I used to do it the same. Now I find braid is easier to work with and quicker and prefer doing this like on ripped fan connectors. I have many sizes of braid to do this. I even use on ripped hdmi connectors. To note it is a matter of preference.
Nice fix! I’m working on replacing a torn off Micro USB on a Yeti mic. All 6 anchor points torn off and 1 torn trace. Gonna try to epoxy a pice of copper foil to repair the anchor points.
Interesting way of doing 'bodge' wiring. I am going to give that a try. Looks more secure than a single wire. Would you not have been better bending the wires before soldering the 1st leg. measure it up after bending and cutting the two legs off. Enjoyed that one. Thanks
Thank you. :) Yes, it would been easier to prepare the wires before soldering. The idea developed while soldering the single wire. So I guess, it will be something for the next similar pad restauration.
Thank you. I found the PS5 for sale and ask the seller if he would be interested in a repair. He said 'Yes' and send me the machine. Now he is happy to be able to continue using his PS5. :)
There are three ssd nand ics which can not be swapped. If they are swapped, the PS5 will not turn on anymore. On ssd controller side the single one. On the backside the both in the same orientation.
Thanks alot very good video. I like that you are using text instead of the voice or music. Alot of these repairs people are talking too much and that you explain everything you are doing is amaing because i'm just bhought my self a reapir system so i'm about to start it my self so learning step-by-step how to reballing is very useful. I have seen hundreds of videos about doing repairs, but this video has too be the best one so far. Even though you didn't fix the issue, but you showed alot of issue too fix in details.
Thank you. It is an AOYUE Int853A Pro. I bought it from a german seller. This offer should be the same: www.walmart.com/ip/Aoyue-853A-Pro-Quartz-Preheating-Station/513903268
Even with new caps on the board, the old original screen is no longer as clear, evenly lit and viewing angle stable as we are used to on current mobile devices/PCs/TVs. But it is authentic with the experiences 30 years ago. :) Here is a side by side comparison of the original screen and a actual clear screen mod: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pU4jnSVfZsI.html
Please, can you explain to me what I need to start the UART, I have a CH341A, I know how to connect GND, RX and TX, jumper to the second and third pin. What do I need from the program, do I need to pay anything, is there a tutorial for it, any help would be great, thanks?
Here is a link to gbatemp.net: ( gbatemp.net/threads/ps5-uart-setup-ch341a.647692/ ) I use the free program PS5 Wee Tools from Andy-man. ( github.com/andy-man/ps5-wee-tools ) An error code list is here: gbatemp.net/threads/ps5-uart-commands.642741/post-10305776 If you want to buy an expensive all-in-one solution: I would check BwE.
@@stetofix Ok, I downloaded this wee tool, when I run it nothing happens, then I downloaded python and it starts but it says "no module named serial" I don't know what to do next.
Coole Sache. Hatte vorher nie was davon gehört oder gesehen. Top! Übrigens das mit dem Programmer am PC erkennen hat dann geklappt nachdem ich den Jumper versetzt hatte. Musste aber den Programmer noch preparieren damit er UART ausließt.
Pretty neat. I think it makes the task of trace repair much quicker (especially if it's more than just 1 or two traces) for sure. Well worth the few dollars if it means the 30+ min job of fixing traces is cut down to two minutes worth of situating the flex repair ribbon. In a busy shop, time is money! Love the little shout out to NRF.... "alex's mom isn't calling" always cracks me up!
