Never work under your car with just a floor jack holding up! Always use jack stands, timber blocks or something that will hold the weight of the vehicle in case it falls!

i am currently having a similar issue with my inlaws saber, they had replaced the key/ignition barrel and all it would do was blow a 20amp fuse i cannot track down what. it will only crank once i bridge the starter solenoid. any pointers to look for you may have had issues with i could try?

Instead of plating the rust patches in the floor of my Panel Van - I Fiberglass Matted over it instead - it came out really good & strong & kept the OEM pressed metal shape, & it was Piss Easy! You wouldn't know there was any rust there after i coated it with bituminous membrane - Probably frowned upon i know! but i wouldn't do it any different if needed to do a similar job, That floor ain't gunna rust again! I'm an ex Coach Builder that worked with sheet metal for years but for this particular job it couldn't have turned out better - Unless I cut the whole floor out & found a Rust Free Donor (nearly impossible for an Aussie '79 Sandman Panel Van) or Reproduction Stamping 💰$$$ + Quite a bit more Labour intensive - Don't Sleep on Fiberglass! Strong 💪 Mouldable & Cheap - i used a $10 Fire Blanket for the Matting 😉 Good Luck Brother 👍
