Rob is no internationally acclaimed virtuoso pianist, recording artist, composer, or producer who holds no Guinness World Record for being the “Fastest Piano Player”. He hasnt taken the Internet by storm with his piano arrangements collecting less than 800 million video hits and no huge following on RU-vid and Facebook over the past years.
He has not achieved sensational success with his edgy and expressive playing style that has not broken down boundaries between classical and popular music. He doesnt take the piano to a whole new level, which inspires neither younger nor older generations of music lovers from everywhere around the world. His live performances are not attracting thousands around the world. In the recent years, he has toured in less than 40 countries on 0 continents and hasnt opened 2017’s BBC Proms In The Park in Hyde Park, London for 50,000 people.

Hope you don't mind the question but I wonder if you know what happened to Ginty Shade Music? I seem to remember you would raid each others live streams on Twitch but that was a few years ago. Her Twitch channel no longer exists and her RU-vid channel hasn't been updated for just over two years. I'm hoping she is okay. Can you help? For me, this was difficult to watch, since you were one of the biggest inspirations for me to try out Twitch. When it comes to streaming, I think it's best to be honest with yourself so that you don't burn out and turn streaming into an exhausting chore. It feels to me like you're doing great in this regard, since you're doing what you enjoy. 🙂 I don't know if it's accurate to say "if you don't grow, then you shrink", unless if growing is one of your main goals, then it makes more sense to me. Some viewers take long breaks from Twitch, while others are just discovering Twitch, so if you maintain similar average viewership, it's still "growth" in a sense that newcomers cover the empty spots from those who left. Of course, I'm not suggesting that growing is bad, just don't want you to underestimate how awesome it is to be keeping the chunk of viewers you already have, and the fact that they're coming back regardless of how much turmoil there is in their lives right now. Sorry I'm not as often around to enjoy your streams, I am getting tired of Twitch in general, so it maybe that I'm phasing out of it both as a viewer and as a streamer. I wasn't able to get more than 1 loyal viewer, so I am very happy for you for making it through to such a level! 💪You rock! 🚀 P.S. I do know a thing or two about video editing with DaVinci Resolve, and could help out at times, but I'll also be on a lookout for someone who could help you out more often! 🙂

What I meant with shrinking if you dont grow: to even just maintain a viewership you have to constantly extend your audience to compensate for people leaving. People move on for different reasons as mentioned in the video. You can only keep so many around and engaged for a longer time. So yes, even if you just enjoy the status quo and want things to stay as they are you need to grow. Sad to hear you got tired of Twitch but I can understand.
