I’ve listened to this so may times since it dropped. It’s like a favorite guitar solo for me. (I play guitar). Reminds me of a Tool concert where part of the guitar solo he jumped on a synth and did something similar. But not a cool as this.
Hey, no, the oscillators are not synchronized. But the two oscillators are very attuned to each other so that it sounds like a synchronized station. I also use the distortion of the Kurzweil mangler from 4:44 onwards. best wishes and thanx a lot..
@@synthi62 Were you doing filter fm (i.e. modulating the filter at audio rate with the 3rd oscillator)? Oscillator sync and pwm are two things I wish the minimoog could do. I have a prophet 10 and it can do those things and is also great in unison mode but it's not quite a minimoog.
@@creightonmoench6894 I did Filter fm from 1:15 to 2:30. I love the Minimoog as it is: without OSC sync and PWM. And the Prophet-10 just as it is. Different instruments and different characteristics. After all, a Porsche is not like a Mercedes 😀
i have revisited this at least a couple of times per year for more than a decade now, and never tire of it. just incredible. a bonafide instance of when instrument becomes extension of human. just beautiful, on every front.
4:38 O melhor solo que eu já ouvi, esse som me lembra os filmes da Polly antigos que eu assistia, também me lembras as abertura dos jogos antigos 😊 passou uma nostalgia.5:16 e 6:08
That was one of the most compelling synth demos I've ever seen - well done! It's the first time that I've heard orchestral patches actually sound musical on a synth. I picked up a K2500X recently, so I'm looking forward to getting to know it. However, you were clearly using the sampler function a lot, which was great.
Instant soundtrack or what? I love the variety of sounds you brought out of this marvelous machine. I heard bits of JMJ in there for sure. What really impresses me the most about this device is the soul penetrating bass it can emit. Nicely done. Bravo.
