They were just as good with three of them as they are with however many of them they have now they don't need all that I mean I'm not saying they're not great with him too but look how good they were just with three of them amazing I wish I would have seen that show that almost makes me mad but I'm so happy I can't be mad I love guster so much I love all those guys I watch their videos over and over again Amsterdam I'm going to sing that maybe on Friday
I have never seen this I didn't stay up that late to watch Conan I never knew they were even on TV ever !❤😂🎉 I was working I couldn't stay up that late. I'm going to have to watch this one over and over to this is one when was only three of them. I already sang and recorded Carefull yesterday and did it by heart OK Google
I never understood why they never made it big. Catch tunes and talent. Saw them open for Bare Naked Ladies and thought they stole the show. Instant fan.
I remember trying to watch this on their website after it happened and my computer didnt have the internet speed to play it. I downloaded it on Kazaa. :) Guster Forever!!
I remember watching Conan that night. It was my sophomore year of college in Durango, Colorado, and we only got 3 channels or so on TV from New Mexico, so the picture quality was terrible and snowy. All I know is that I really liked what I heard, and I was a Guster fan from that point on. Went to the local music shop and got the CD the next day. Wouldn’t see them live until 2 years later at the Georgia Theater in Athens.
Their drummer's sister is the FCC chairperson now. I hope this is good for music, Reverb helped a lot of people & got a lot of people into festivals for volunteering.
From Parachute to Look Alive Guster is just awesome. Fun to see their evolution as a band. They just know how to make great music. My favorite Band of all time.
Of all the street musicians I've ever seen, I remember Gus (their original name in 1991) playing the few times I was at Harvard Square in warm weather weekends -- my fave song was Fall in Two! They'd have their guitar case open for donations like every other street musician!! I got on their mailing list (not email) and their postcards followed me through 3 moves and then even when I finally bought a house in a suburb. That's how you built up your fan base then before the Internet. That's how you know they were and still are serious, talented, driven musicians!
Guster is on Chris Thile's LIVE FROM HERE on NPR - and it triggered me remembering this song. I absolutely loved it then, love it now and was happy to hear they're still making great music!

Love this song! Super random but I completely remember watching this performance when it first aired... The next day was the same day as the Columbine shooting so they are strangely tied together for me.
My first experience of Guster was a friend inviting me with him to go to a radio station sponsored private concert of Guster. I was blown away and they have been my favorite band ever since. Every time I met them in person, they've always been incredibly cool. Ryan saw me in a food court wearing a Guster t-shirt after their concert and joined me and my friend. What other bands do that level of cool for their fans?
Well I think Ed Sheeran does but The strokes t-shirts are way too expensive I got a Young the Giant t-shirt for 35 bucks plus shipping and stuff but it was at the beginning of the month before BMO Bank stole all my money😮
They never played them on the radio here never not until satellite and I love that song but it's not my favorite I mean careful happier Diana I have three of their CDs I played them over and over and over and careful help me not kill myself. I had to go to the mental hospital cuz I wanted to die because of the abuse from the guy upstairs and management doing nothing just stop it I wrote incident report after incident report and nothing was ever done when the police came they didn't come to my house they went upstairs to his and he never answered the door he was just schizophrenic
But when I played the music and sang with it I felt better music has always saved me since I was born my life is my mother never liked me maybe she likes me until I got old enough to talk which was probably one and a half but I learned how to shut up around her so there's a song about that too I think actually Ed Sheeran does it I'll figure it out I'm so tired thanks for listening I love guster but they don't advertise I missed them when they played in Berkeley but I swear I saw the drummer walking down the street and I didn't know his name when I said are you Ryan he said no I said you're really tall you can't tell how call a drummer is because they're always sitting down this guy was really tall and looked just like the drummer it was him they must have played in Berkeley but I missed it again because I didn't have enough money
Come downstairs and say hello I mean how sweet is that I'm sorry I'm going on and on but I forgot about guster for a minute you never hear him on the radio so I was playing Charlie puth Ed Sheeran until I went on my RU-vid and thought okay guster careful that saved my life more than once a bus driver was mean to me I started singing that song by a heart I just sung my lungs out I didn't think I sounded that good but now I know I sound that good I harmonize with myself the recording engineer is very cool I said how to do oh that was good I said what do you mean good that was great not bragging but I'm tired of this microphone cutting off so I'm off to the bath now love you guys happier is another one so true I've had to get rid of a lot of friends because of negative s*** and negative stuff actually hurts my body now😮❤ but singing loudly in public outside where I live in my apartment dancing I feel better the pain is gone I still have a little back pain or I dance a little too hard but I've iced it I put warm baths I'm taking really good care of myself now I've gained 5 lb since I moved here in October 3rd and I lost it again recently because of anxiety not because I'm bipolar like two different psychiatrists
The stuff that's supposed to make me sleepy actually keeps me awake except for BuSpar and I'm taking more of that my doctor said she will up that for me I'm testing out by myself not being someone else's guinea pig what feels not to take and if I can't sleep I'll take it but pretty sure I'm going to be off all this I commands and then I'll start dreaming again but I'm singing really well so when I even quit smoking and my case manager Jan brought me two packs of cigarettes told her that the strongest ones but she probably Lucky strike filters and they're way too strong I can't smoke😂
