The AMA channel does have more from the tournament. We're hoping to do a live stream of some selected groups for all three rounds of this year's tournament.
On this hole maybe not. That's the Chromax ball, which is an official ball of the USPMGA. It does roll a bit different than other golf balls but a lot of it comes down to personal preference. You can find another video of ours where we use a glass ball to ace that hole.
The interesting thing is that from that angle it might look straight into the hole, but from where we were standing we know it is not. Just goes to show it might be hard to identify something from just one look.
Thanks for posting this! I am trying to get into it. I had a question as I saw a guy in a grey sleeveless shirt without a hat playing. I thought you had to have a hat and wear a polo?
Don't believe that hats were ever required at a USPMGA event. Do think that at some point there was something in the rules that required a collared shirt in USPMGA events but have never seen that enforced.
He actually has a condition with his wrists that makes it near impossible to hold the putter so he devised a way to clip on a metal bar to hit foot to use it as a putter. Pretty cool way to make the sport more inclusive.
