Hi John. I am from the UK and came across your channel after seeing your interview with Mack McCormack. Where can we watch this documentary? Thank you! Jaydon
do you not think that yuell swinner faked his death and the note bc of the convenient connections? he planned his marriage around not getting caught he would’ve definitely murdered someone with connections to the victims. also the gov could’ve easily faked his suicidenote as well💯
I screened a pre-distribution “Sesquicentennial Cut” of the documentary on December 8, 2023 in Texarkana. I am now doing additional editing to prepare the documentary for a wider release. The date that this wider release will occur is still be determined.
What I find intriguing is that not far from Texarkana was Boggy Creek and the Fouke Monster. I know they are not related incidents but it just seems odd that there was the killer and the monster in the same general area. So that made me think, Phantom killed people who lived in town but were out of the town at the time they were murdered. If he was from there he had to at least recognize the cars or the victims because Texarkana wasn't that big then. I think it is kind of significant that the victims were town people. Why did the Fouke Monster make me think this way? Because Ole Boggy (I don't know what else to call him) terrorized people who lived out of town. But most rural people have rifles or shotguns. But if he was rural then he would more than likely be a hunter, so sneaking around in the dark would be like hunting but I have never heard of anyone hunting with a pistol. I am from rural Ohio and am familiar with people who hunt. The only thing that is hunted at night would be coons or possums. But he had a pistol so he had to be close range. And that would make sense as it would be dark, he would not be able to see the victims. And if the victims were in secluded places with no lights on, then how would he know they were there? Woods are very dark at night so he would not just randomly be out walking around in the dark in the woods. I find it very hard to believe some guy was walking around the countryside or if he was driving around, to somehow be on the same road as the victims. Randomly? I think whoever it was had to recognize the cars and the victims and he had to have followed them from town. No, I can't buy some random guy be randomly walking around at night in the dark woods hoping to find a car with people, especially with a hood on which would make it even harder to see at night. Even with a full moon, the woods are still dark. I simply can't see a strange man with a hood and pistol randomly walking the countryside at night in the dark many times near woods who just happened to somehow randomly come up on cars. My take is that he knew or recognized the cars or victims, and he intended to specifically target them earlier so he followed them from town. He had to be from Texarkana. He had to be in a vehicle that would not be suspicious. And who would recognize them, follow them without being noticed and walk up on them to shoot them with a pistol? A police officer. I mean think about it, he could follow them without being suspicious then after a little bit get out of his car, walk up to theirs and they would think he was an on duty officer or deputy until he was close enough they could see he was wearing a hood. Really, who would question seeing a cop car out at night and not think he was patrolling? A cop makes sense. A random car thief does not.
Mr. Tennison with all the knowledge you have on this case and the (phantom aka Doodie) and Youell you should totally reach out to the people of netflix or the vice channel to get a true crime special of the phantom killer of Texarkana made cause the topic of true crime serial killers is a hot topic right now and your related to the phantom which makes it better just saying!
@@JohnTennison Doodie was only 16, and he whopped a 29 year old Navy Seal, and then raped his 17 yo wife in front of him? That's one bada$$ kid who was accused of being a sissy!
Hey Mr. Tennison is there any chance that you would be able to make a youtube video of the actual locations connected to Doodie Tennison such as (his childhood home you talk about in these videos, the theater he worked at, the school he went to, all the victim crime scene locations, where he was living when he took his life, and lastly his grave please cause that would make for an epic youtube video especially cause your related to the phantom aka Doodie which is awesome sort of like being related to a super villain or horror icon. Also its kind of obvious that film director Wes Craven based his film Screams killers off of Doodie as (Billy Loomis) and Youell Swinney as (Stu Macher) and he even references the film (The town that dreaded sundown) which is awesome just a suggestion for hopefully a future video cause these videos you put out about doodie and Youell were great and i need more of this content just saying.
Gtfo, the only thing this kid has ever killed is 🐜....he didn't have the capacity nor the balls to kill people. If he did he would probably be having orgies with cheerleaders instead of Binging movies alone. Give me a fkn break 😤 .
I have been fascinated by this case since childhood. My mother grew up in Texas, mainly in Cooper. My grandmother told us about it being in the newspapers & on radio reports. From her perspective, it was just so scary that the killer was never caught & concern that the maniac could be anywhere. When I saw the movie, The Town That Dreaded Sundown & it was the catalyst that made me want to find as much info as possible about this. I respect everyone that has put time and effort into trying to crack this case. To me it will always be one of those unanswered mysteries.
These excellent videos on the murders deserve a far wider viewership, especially considering so much of the true crime genre on youtube is filled with absolute rubbish.
Man, I hope you get your documentary out. I wish I could've talked to Mack. BTW, I saw that Kindle is selling pre-orders for Mack's RJ book, PHANTOM. I did a triple take and ordered it, though I'm not nuts about Johnson like some folks. Well, relative to other areas of blues research. I've read most of what's available on him, most of which suffers from a shitload of overlapping sources and cliche of course. I'll damn sure read Mack's book. Anyway, will that release be legit in your opinion? Did his family actually come off that manuscript?
What a hidden nugget!! I LOVE the BLUES and a gifted talent that plays the guitar and harmonica ...is very RARE these days. THIS is how we do it down SOUTH!! Ole school talent like this is so sweet and undeniable. Thanks John!
They should have told him if you want to avoid the chair tell us everything you did A-Z and I will talk to the prosecuting attorney and then we would know for sure
There was a document that I didn't present here that did just that. It was the very first document recorded after their arrest which tells where they traveled and what they were up to for three months leading up to the Martin/Booker case.
I don't consider this as frustrating is the Zodiac Killer because the murders stopped with the arrest of Sweeney and I think he was almost certainly the killer I mean he basically implicated himself
It's not for certain that the attack in May was The Phantom. If not, then the last Phantom attack was in April, three months before Swinney's arrest. I'd say the attacks stopped before he was arrested.
